It was a wonderful experience; I lived with a truly good family in the village near the Ngong Hills. We did activities together every day, including preparing food, gardening, and more. The safehouse with the girls was amazing, the children are fantastic and very sweet. I would go again!

I stayed for 2 weeks with Jonathan and his family living at their house. I helped his wife with house work: cooking, laundry, cleaning, etc. They took me to some community meetings in which I met wonderful people and another volunteer. My last days I went to a school in which I could teach (English, Maths...) and here I met some people from Australia and USA. They also taught me many things about their culture and took me to do some tourism. I'm gonna miss so much this family!!

Raquel, de España, se quedó en mi casa y fue una voluntaria muy amable que estaba dispuesta a ayudar en mi casa, en mi pueblo y en nuestra escuela local. Ella pudo llevarse algunas joyas hechas a mano por nuestras niñas rescatadas y por las viudas. Mi familia la quiso mucho y la extrañaremos. Gracias, Raquel, por quedarte con nosotros.
