Me encanta mi experiencia en Irlanda! Derek fue muy atento y realmente me ayudó a mejorar tanto en mi trabajo como con mi inglés. El trabajo es variado, y la granja está ubicada en una de las zonas más hermosas y tranquilas de Irlanda. Derek siempre está disponible para escuchar y ayudar con el trabajo, y he aprendido mucho en estos últimos meses. Más allá del trabajo, tuve tiempo para hacer turismo los fines de semana y visité algunos de los lugares más hermosos de Irlanda en autobús. La granja es accesible en autobús, y Derek siempre estuvo dispuesto a llevarme y recogerme de la parada. Si amas la naturaleza, ¡es el lugar ideal!

Go for it if you research new experiences. It wasn't so bad to be alone in the mobile home's farm. You can see through the window the see and the mountains, that's what really matters for me. To be honest it deserves 4,5 out of 5 stars due to the cleanliness in the mobile home. But it's ok you can survive ;) Thank you Derek for your patience and kindness.

The surrounding landscape is very beautiful, really a surreal location. There is alot of work to do on the farm. Would recommend the experience.

I think I was not on the same page with the host about this volunteering experience. I enjoyed the nature and the animals however, I felt at times some behaviour may have been a bit reckless in regard to use of machinery. Additionally I did not feel comfortable in this space and whilst I cannot speak on their behalf I did not feel like the other volunteer present did either, as we both left our stay here early. The work is not hard which is nice but can get a bit repetitive. I would recommend coming here with a friend otherwise it can be quite isolating.

The poly tunnel still needs some work but we've made a big improvement . The thing with the toilet and water needs to be done but it wasn't that bad. The work is pretty hard but we've had a lot of rest and visited some great places. It was a truly open minded experience.

Derek is a really nice, funny and patient person, he really makes sure everything goes well for us . The farm is a bit old and there's a lot to do but overall the jobs were pretty nice and the working days weren't very long or too exhausting. We worked mainly with animals, in the fields, or with the plantations in the polytunnel. -and I hope you like dogs -. The farm and its surroundings are amazing, maybe a little isolated and far from cities, but there are several buses to a large number of cities. Many thanks to Derek for hosting me and for this wonderful, unforgettable experience !

First of all the nature there is beautiful, you can go to a lot of stunning places with amazing views or a pretty beach right by the atlantic ocean. Derek took me to all of this places and showed me around. Thanks for that! The work was interesting and there is really a lot to do on the farm. It needs much of repairing and building, care for the polytunnel (especially tomatoes)and for the animals as well. My trip was short but it was a experience! I just wish you (Derek) good luck with your project.

The location is a bit isolated but there is a bus station not too far away that can take you most anywhere you need to go. I'd reccomend travelling with a friend as the site can be a bit lonely but if you like solitude and a break from the world this is the place to go.
