Descripción: The fees cover 7 nights in our dorms reserved for guests at the eco-lodge, 21 meals from our farm to table restaurant, 8 hours of private Spanish classes, and access to the weekly activities at the Spanish School and Eco-lodge.

This program is perfect for people who enjoy working outdoors, connecting with nature, and improving their Spanish while living in a tropical eco-lodge. Volunteers help support the daily care of our gardens and nature reserve while participating in language learning and community life.
🌿 Typical Tasks
Tasks vary depending on the needs of the week and may include:
Weeding and garden care
Tree planting and plant propagation
Composting and soil building
Carrying groceries and helping around the lodge
Collecting stones or sand for small projects
Trail maintenance in the nature reserve
General outdoor maintenance around the property
🌱 Learning Opportunities
Volunteers receive 8 hours of private Spanish classes, allowing you to deepen your language skills while living in an immersive environment.
You can also participate in many activities at Ritmo del Río and learn from people with over 10 years of experience in permaculture and organic gardening in tropical ecosystems. We offer workshops and digital resources for volunteers interested in learning more about our organic farm and nature reserve.
This program is ideal for people who want a balance of meaningful work, cultural exchange, language learning, and time in nature.
