Mi estancia aquí fue fácilmente una de mis experiencias de voluntariado favoritas. El trabajo era simple y solo alrededor de 3 horas al día, dejando mucho tiempo para disfrutar de los hermosos alrededores. Me encantó la ubicación — tranquila, pacífica, cerca de la naturaleza y la playa, exactamente mi tipo de lugar. Un agradecimiento especial a Julia por siempre proponer actividades divertidas y hacer que cada semana fuera memorable. Desde explorar lugares cercanos hasta disfrutar de experiencias locales, siempre había algo interesante que hacer. Me sentí muy bien recibido, disfruté mucho mi tiempo aquí y volvería con gusto. ¡Altamente recomendado!

Este programa de voluntariado fue mejor de lo que esperaba. Me sentí bienvenido y sentí que tu espacio personal y tus necesidades eran respetados. Las personas que conocí fueron amables, cariñosas y me sentí aceptado tal como era. El trabajo, que no era difícil, me ayudó a conectarme con la comunidad y aprender sobre ellos y sobre el país. Las actividades a las que tienes derecho, como la clase de Kundalini yoga, me hicieron sentir que mi trabajo fue apreciado y estoy agradecido por estos beneficios. Me alegró mucho conocer a personas de Finlandia y de diferentes partes del mundo y disfrutar del tiempo juntos.

I spent a wonderful few weeks in the Center over Christmas and New Year. The experience was challenging at times - as communal living often can be - but facing those challenges, and growing from them, had been one of the reasons for my volunteering trip. My time in Tammisaari was full of magic, cosiness, friendship, and I came away feeling very grateful for the experience. Tasks were manageable and there was plenty of time for rest and relaxation.

This was truly one of the best experiences of my life. I had the chance to meet people from all around the world and, of course, our wonderful host. I loved staying in the Center, there's the chance of choosing your tasks based on what you prefer, I enjoyed spending time in the nature, one of my fav tasks was gardening. The atmosphere is something out of this world, I had the best time enjoying some relax and I had the chance to also do some meditation and focus on my needs. Thanks to the free time I had the opportunity to meet a lot of locals, who later became my friends. I will come back asap!

Ilaria fue muy dulce y respetuosa en la comunidad. Fue muy flexible con las tareas y se adaptó muy bien a la dinámica de nuestro centro. Junto con otra voluntaria, formaron un gran equipo y nos deleitaron con sus deliciosas comidas. ¡La recomendamos encarecidamente!

I had a great first experience at the Center. The people were friendly and made me feel welcome. I did feel a bit lonely in the first few days. Most volunteers had come in pairs and I found it difficult to integrate myself. Luckily, a new lone volunteer came a bit later and I was able to have much more fun. The tasks vary from cleaning, doing laundry and cooking/baking, to gardening and helping out at the kombucha brewery. I liked doing the laundry. The hours are flexible and they give you enough independence to decide when to take a break and when to have days off. I highly recommend ❤️

Ilona fue una parte importante de la comunidad; al principio era un poco tímida hasta que se abrió y fue muy solidaria, explicando las tareas a los nuevos voluntarios y acompañándolos. Era muy responsable y flexible con las tareas y podíamos confiar mucho en ella. ¡La recomendamos encarecidamente!

It was the best experience so far. Marika and Timo are so kind and welcoming, and the entire team is friendly and warm. We did many activities together, like pizza parties, picnics, and more. The work is varied and offers many learning opportunities. The Finnish people are very nice and speak English well. I highly recommend it !

As a first-time Worldpacker, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The warm welcome and the friendships I made were unforgettable. 💕 The living and working conditions were great and flexible, offering a good balance of comfort and productivity. The tasks were interesting and fun, and I had lots of time to explore the beautiful surroundings. The location, with its stunning natural beauty, including forests and a nearby beach, made every moment special. ☀️ I truly recommend this experience 100% !!!

Sophia era muy amable y dulce y una parte importante de nuestra comunidad. Muy respetuosa, trabajadora y siempre dispuesta a ayudar a los demás. Ella era muy flexible con las tareas que realizaba y siempre hacía un buen trabajo. Supo trabajar en equipo, y también nos ayudó mucho creando contenido para las redes sociales y haciendo videos para difundir la palabra sobre nuestro centro. La extrañamos mucho cuando se fue. ¡La recomendamos encarecidamente!

One of the best experiences I have ever had. It is a lovely place to do volunteer work, meet wonderful people, learn lots of new things (not just during the work, also participating in workshops and just talking with different people), and have a lot of fun! The working hours are flexible and manageable by yourself. The jobs are varied, I have been remodeling apartments, painting, cleaning, working with wood, fixing stuff, helping in the kitchen, hosting events, and more. There is a lot of gardening also. My best memories are of the people I met, getting lifetimes friends is priceless.

My experience at the Center was the best worldpackers trip I've ever done! The hours were very fair and flexible, the work was varied so you weren't always doing the same thing, and the accommodation and location was superb. The team that runs the place are passionate and caring for the volunteers and everyone else that lives there. I can't recommend this place enough!
