Es una guesthouse en la que tendrás contacto con viajeros internacionales, está ubicado en una zona de Pranburi muy tranquila, un poco lejos de todo, pero Som facilita medios de transporte como bicicleta gratuita o alquiler de moto sencillo y económico. Si tuviera que decir algo negativo es que echamos de menos más contacto con la cultura local. Las habitaciones son cómodas, la cocina está bien equipada y las vistas son preciosas. Es un lugar rodeado de naturaleza perfecto para descansar y desconectar. Estamos muy contentos por la experiencia estas tres semanas❤️

I recommend this experience to everyone. Communication with Som was great, expectations about the work were clear from the first day. Work is easy: prepare the breakfasts for guests, check ins and check outs, always making sure everything is tidy and clean. Agreed hours/days were respected at all times. When there are not guests arriving/leaving, you can enjoy the facilities (nice to have a swimming pool), go for a ride and explore the surroundings. In the volunteering I had the chance to meet other volunteers and international travellers, atmosphere is very chill and familiar.

What an incredible experience. I highly recommend the guest house Mahasumut to anyone looking for a peaceful and tranquil environment for volunteers. The hosts Som, Pieter & the staff were so kind and friendly towards us. And always willing to answer any questions or assist you in anyway that they can. Super grateful to them and we would love to come back one day and volunteer again. Truly a wonderful experience. If there was any advice I could give to anyone it would be to hire a scooter for the period of your stay. Taxi's (Grab & Bolt) are very unreliable in the area especially at night. Much love.🙏

I had an amazing time here!! I would recommend this experience to everyone who craves a peaceful quiet time surrounded by stunning nature. I felt so welcomed by Som and Peter, they were super kind and helped me with everything. The work is really easy, making breakfast in the mornings and doing the check ins. Most days there were no or only one check-in, so I could go out and enjoy the area, go to the beach, do some hikes and much more 💗 A hidden gem in a more remote and local area of Thailand, I am definitely coming back ! :)

Volunteering at the guest house was a lovely experience. We had the chance to get to know a lot of travellers while still enjoying the peace and quiet of the nature that surrounds the area. Som is a great host, she explained everything perfectly from the beginning, and she was always available in case we had any questions. The working hours and tasks are fair and manageable, we always felt supported and even had fun talking with the guests in the morning. We definitely recommend this project to anyone who enjoys the nature and peaceful environments.

The experience in the guest house was amazing, we had the opportunity to meet a lot of travelers from Europe and Southeast Asia, families, solo travelers and couples, every single one with inspiring stories. The hosts, Som and Pieter were super polite, respectful and helpful with everyone, guests and employees. The housekeeper, Naam, and the Gardener, Mon, kept the place tide and clean, helping us with every single request that we needed during the stay. the guest house is a oasis in the middle of the national forest reserve that invites you to contemplate the beauty of the Thai nature

It was a memorable experience, the place is peaceful, clean and incredibly beautiful. You can go for a ride with a bycicle or rent a scooter, the beach is very near and also a ton of nature places. The work there is nice and respectful, you will help the guests and enjoy some time with them. Som and Peter are super kind and they help you with anything you need. I will keep this experience in my soul for always , thank you❤️

I really enjoyed my time at the guest house — it was the perfect first Worldpackers experience. The place is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and very cozy. During my stay, I met some wonderful people from all over the world, and Som and Pieter are amazing hosts. They are both very kind and easygoing, and Som was always happy to help with any questions I had. There's also plenty to explore nearby, from beaches and the national park to hikes and local markets. Thank you so much for having me!! :)
