Pasé tres semanas en la aldea y, sin duda, fue una experiencia que siempre recordaré.
Todas las personas que conocí fueron maravillosas conmigo, siempre disponibles, siempre tratando de hacer que me sienta bien en cualquier circunstancia.
Sin duda es una experiencia que te permite vivir al 100 % su auténtica vida cotidiana.

Me quedé dos semanas en el proyecto. Es un gran lugar para conocer a la gente local de Lombok y para sumergirse en la cultura. Las clases de inglés son realmente divertidas para los niños y para los maestros también :). Los niños son un poco tímidos cuando llega alguien nuevo, pero son los más dulces y tan entusiasmados por aprender, especialmente cuando nosotros, los maestros, disfrutamos de juegos y cosas así. Sani está realmente comprometido con el proyecto y siempre está ahí por si necesitas algo. Él nos dio algunas clases de indonesio realmente útiles. Pia, Dayat y su familia son cálidos y cocinan comidas deliciosas.

Tuve una experiencia hermosa, inmersa en la cultura local del pueblo y rodeada de voluntarios de ideas afines. El equipo recibió un nuevo edificio escolar, que limpiamos y decoramos. Es un gran espacio que es ideal para enseñar a los niños allí.
La ubicación es perfecta, a poca distancia a pie de la playa y a solo un corto trayecto en coche a Senggigi, donde surfeamos todos los días. Pasamos la mayor parte de las noches viendo la puesta de sol en la playa y luego comiendo una increíble variedad de comida local.
En nuestros días libres, visitamos la isla secreta de Gili (con costo adicional), donde éramos el único grupo acampando. Irreal.

My time at Tajuan the homewas so special !! We taught the children English, did beach cleanups, made eco bricks and helped improve the volunteer accommodation through various DIY projects. The highlight of this experience was definitely the people, Sani, the team and the children are all incredible and welcome you as part of the family. They even took a whole group of us to the secret Gilis where we sang around the fire and snorkeled with bioluminescence. The food is also amazing !! I felt so comfortable, had so much fun and laughed a lot. Highly recommend this volunteer experience :)

Sani and Taylor are a very beautiful couple. They are doing their best to help the village learn English, and they even care about the neighboring village, making sure they also receive the education they need. They are also working hard to clean the village of plastic and have created trash bags for everyone to use. Life with them was so quiet . Sani is an active person, so if you want to explore all ofthe home, he is a great tour guide. I really appreciate what he is doing for his people. I also enjoyed the company of Gouga and Refal they are so funny to do activities with

This was amazing experience everyone was so lovely and kind I felt at home right away. Teaching English to the children was so nice and they were so happy to be involved in learning, it was also rewarding to teach the adults as they were so eager to learn the whole environment was so lovely. Also the food was AMAZING a huge breakfast and dinner of local food, then on the days off we went to some beautiful places inthe home. Also I enjoyed playing cards in the evening. I would love to come back if I could give 6 stars I would :)))

Taylor and Sani are welcoming, friendly, relaxed, kind people, with great English. They helped me learn a little Indonesian. Their homestay is nestled on a small hill in the village, beach only 1km away and all the tourist restaurants only about 5kms a short trip by 'grab'. The locals want to know who you are and invite you to their homes for meals. The children are happy and eager to learn and play and will often come to the homestay to visit. We took the children on some adventures and taught English through these outings as well as the traditional structured way in class. Loved my stay.
