This was one of the most emotional and difficult challenges for me as a dog lover. I am infinitely grateful for the experience and work at Snehas the organization. It is super hard work that the team does every day at the organization. It didn't take long for the dogs to win my heart. I've rarely seen dogs so in need of love, who just want to be loved and stroked. My highlight was the tihar festival that I was able to witness, organize and photograph. It was a very special experience to see how the Nepalese culture dedicates this day to the dogs. I miss the dogs very much and can imagine coming back!

Wow wow wow!! Where to even begin?! My time spent volunteering ay the organization was one of the best times I've ever had volunteering! The dogs and animals are soo sweet, the team is so welcoming and helpful, Sneha is such a special person and I feel like I have a new friend for life. The volunteer house is very clean and comfortable, and I don't think I'd eaten so well in a very long time (shoutout to Nana the incredible cook at the organization & Sneha herself who cooked me delicious dinners many times). If you're an the organization lover and are staying in Kathmandu, I can't recommend this place enough!

I had a wonderful time at the organization!! I loved working with the dogs and animals, just so much love I got and lots and lots of cuddles. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable. Sneha and her Team were so hospitable and loving always making sure I had enough food or asking if I need anything else:). This experience was exactly what I needed, so much dog love and some stability after traveling for a while and also meeting amazing people, tasting the lovely Nepalese food:)) Thank you all so much for everything! I can absolutely recommend this project:))

I unfortunately had to leave my stay with Sneha early due to some personal health issues but the team working here is filled with very lovely people who are very accommodating and caring for their volunteers. I wish I could have stayed for longer, my only recommendation for other travelers is to consider how the environmental differences of Nepal may affect you compared to wherever you are from.

I spent a month at the organization and honestly didn't want to leave. The dogs are amazing. The family who live at the organization full time are so sweet and great with the dogs and the volunteers. The doctors are nice and work with dogs. There is a good amount of cleaning to do, but you do get to spend a good amount of time cuddling/walking/bathing the dogs as well. I miss these dogs more than anything.
