Tuve la oportunidad de quedarme una semana en la casa. Este lugar es realmente único, las personas son increíbles, la energía y la atmósfera global en la casa también son muy especiales. Desde los primeros minutos hasta el último segundo allí, me sentí de inmediato como en casa, aunque la cultura es muy diferente y el lugar está a miles de kilómetros de casa. Realmente espero tener la oportunidad de volver algún día y disfrutar de nuevo de la vida tranquila y lenta en el desierto 😊

Hospedarse en la casa ha sido una experiencia realmente increíble. Quien desee experimentar un estilo de vida diferente y ver cómo es vivir en el desierto debería hacerse voluntario aquí.
Es un lugar realmente tranquilo y acogedor; los anfitriones se preocupan mucho por sus huéspedes y lo incluirán en su vida diaria, conociendo a amigos, yendo al mercado, tocando música…
Incluso los animales te dan la bienvenida con los brazos abiertos. Es el lugar perfecto para aprender más sobre la cultura local, la historia y la mentalidad, mientras te diviertes y te ríes mucho

I had an amazing 30day stay at the home The hosts were friendly and caring and the focus was on learning and intercultural exchange instead of work Still, I think it's important to mention that the WP page the home a bit misleading: Not all benefits match WPs description. It has nothing to do with Yoga, the costs of the discounted/free tours were a little strange, and most of the pictures are taken during the trips and suggest dunes, but you'll only see those during the trips You should also be prepared for squatting toilets and cold bucket showers ExpectingThoseInaccuraciesYoullHaveaGreatTrip:)

Te quedaste 30 días, eso dice mucho. La vida aquí es simple, cruda y real. No es para quienes buscan comodidad, sino para quienes buscan el alma. Stading at the home was a very interesting experience (in a good way). The hosts are very welcoming and though there sometimes are language barriers they can still make you feel at home. It the home definitely not to much work so you have a lot of time and i would recommend having a project you're working on or bringing a good book, but in the evening you can also spend a lot of time with the hosts and their friends. The Tajine was always great. It the home a very good place to unwind from stress, meet locals, eat good food and learn a new way of life.

Une très belle expérience enrichissante qui m'ont permis de sortir de ma zone de confort mais surtout de m'imprégner de la culture Marocaine "Berbère". Les garçons ont été accueillants Pratico-Pratique Pour les transport pour arriver à Tagounite : - Prendre le CTM (bus) de Marrakech jusqu'à Tagounite (09H20 de route) : 158 MAD - Ensuite MBarzk nous attend avec un TUKTUK : 30 MAD Excursions - Une nuitée dans le Sahara ( une expérience splendide que je n'oublierai jamais) : 100 MAD - Journée à la montagne avec un grillade : cout pour le carburant

Aquí, no vendemos experiencias; las vivimos, juntos, alrededor de un té o bajo un cielo estrellado. Vuelve cuando quieras, la puerta siempre está abierta, y Mbarak también con su tuk-tuk.

My experience at the home was unforgettable. From start to end Mohammed, Mbarak, Hamza, and Mohammed were hospitable and welcoming. It the home intimidating to come all the way out to the desert alone as a woman and live with men but it was such a good experience and I felt safe with them as soon as I arrived. The meals are traditional and always bustinggggg. The shower the home a bucket and water, you can boil if you need. The place the home a simple mud house but quite literally the most memorable volunteer experience I've had :) thank you lovelies!!

The home definitely a unique experience. You get a real taste of how people actually live in a small village of Morocco. During the course of the day after having worked for no more than 2/2:30 hours there the home not much to do so I would recommend going with other volunteers or a friend. Its a good place to relax but dont expect extremely active days. The hosts were very nice the place had no running water but 2 large tanks and kept quite clean. The village the home very rural small and charming, the stars are night are amazing and the experience overall the home definetly worth a try

Spent an unforgettable week at the home with two friends. The hosts were amazing, welcoming us with music and food, making us feel right at home (which the home a plus when you arrive at night). While the living conditions are basic (think a hole-in-the-floor toilet and bucket showers), the experience was very unique and fun. We connected with travellers and locals, gaining insight into the culture, and even picking up some basic Arabic. The work was light (about 3 hours a day) and varied, from building mud walls and stone pathways, to cooking Moroccan dishes. I hope to return someday!

Mohammed, Hamza and Mubarak were great hosts! On the first night we were welcomed with mint tea and music. We felt like a family instantly. The facilities are very basic which was hard adjusting to, but it was a great experience to live in a different way and see how locals live. Work was great and fun, about 3 hours a day working on building the guest house, cooking, cleaning, etc. My friends and I had an amazing time and learned a lot about Moroccan/Amazigh culture, and the hosts were always happy to answer any questions we had about the culture and language. Thank you!

No solo tuve la oportunidad de probar una increíble cocina auténtica, cocinada con pasión y años de conocimiento transmitidos de generación en generación, sino que tuve el privilegio de poder sumergirme por completo en una cultura y un estilo de vida completamente diferente al mío. Me sentí honrado de poder conocer a muchos locales y asistir a una boda tradicional marroquí, y la sensación de estar rodeado por un grupo fuerte y alentador de mujeres fue algo que guardaré siempre cerca de mí. Estoy más que agradecido por esta experiencia.
