Ismael es un jefe muy amable, muy ordenado y re-limpio; respectoso de los voluntarios y de sus necesidades, muy flexible en ideas y sugerencias. Como una familia hemos siempre trabajado juntos y el tiempo de la comida ha sido por todos un momento para compartir proyectos y sonrisas.

Ha sido una estancia increíble en el the farm de Ismael. Su idea es que la casa sea de todos y realmente lo cumple, haciéndonos sentir parte de su vida y compartiendo no solo el bonito espacio con sus muchos arboles frutales, sino también sus amigos y entorno social. El trabajo es tranquilo, hice tareas como pintar, ordenar, cuidar el gallinero, recolectar frutos y algún trabajo del campo. También he cocinado, y me ha encantado intercambiar recetas. Hay buena flexibilidad de horario, pero es mejor que tengas proactividad, porque algunas horas estarás sol@. Recomiendo al 100% y volveré, Isma! :)

My experience was incredible! It was so much more than volunteering . I learned new ways of seeing life, of seeing myself with more awareness. I was enchanted by the simplicity of life in the countryside and I truly felt that the exchange was genuine. Ismael is a bright soul! The work requires dedication, but he is kind and always willing to teach with calmness and patience. I loved being part of such a beautiful project, full of heart and potential!

This was a great experience for me! The house is very comfy and the food is amazing. As I was looking for a very calm place, that didn't always happen during a period with guests in the house. They were lovely - that wasn't the problem - just a mismatch with expectations. Transportation isn't very easy if you want to go out every day, but for occasional trips on days off, walking or taxis work fine. Tasks vary, and some can be physically demanding, but Ismael is always open to feedback and adjustments. I recommend it for those looking to rest and immerse themselves in Spanish culture!

As my first experience, it was interesting to observe the dynamics between host and volunteer. However, the location is quite remote, with no easy means of transportation. Since my goal was to learn about the local culture and practice Spanish, the circumstances made it challenging. That said, if you're seeking a countryside retreat, the place is ideal. Just note: if you're a guy, be prepared for physical outdoor work under the sun. The project has great potential, and I hope it evolves into the peaceful place it aims to be. Aprecio tus comentarios y haré todo lo posible para mejorar en todos los aspectos posibles. Por eso compré dos bicicletas justo cuando llegaste. Sin embargo, es importante tener en cuenta que, como se trata de una casa de campo situada a 5 km de Motril, no puedes esperar los mismos servicios que en la ciudad.
Las tareas son muy diversas, y una vez que se completen las prioridades, surgirán otras. No siempre serán al aire libre o bajo el sol.

Staying with Ismael was a very comfortable experience. He's a good host making sure I had quality food and housing. If you are looking for a place to be in peace and calm this is the perfect place, the house is silent and has a great energy. There is no transportation, so if you are looking to go around, sightsee etc its not recommended. Although when he is in the mood and has no guests, on weekends you might be able to visit a nearby beach or cool spot, depends on what he wants to do.
