Qué mes tan hermoso pasado a bordo del barco. Una época que guardaré para siempre. Buenas personas, buena comida y buen trabajo. La comunidad que Thomas ha creado es única como ninguna otra y yo recomendaría encarecidamente esta experiencia a cualquiera que tenga la suerte de formar parte de ella. El voluntariado a bordo del barco fue una experiencia fantástica. Apoyé el mantenimiento diario del barco, incluyendo limpieza, pintura, reparaciones básicas y mantenimiento general. Vivir y trabajar juntos a bordo de un velero me enseñó la responsabilidad, la flexibilidad y la importancia de la cooperación. Más allá del trabajo, construí una verdadera amistad con Thomas, por la que estoy muy agradecido. Espero que nuestros caminos se crucen de nuevo pronto, y que pueda volver a subir al barco y navegar juntos una vez más.

Pasé un gran rato viviendo y trabajando en el barco. ¡El barco se está volviendo cada vez más acogedor y Thomas tiene las mejores intenciones con el barco y con las personas que viven en él y alrededor de él! Lo conocí como una persona muy dulce, atenta y servicial. Aprendí de él sobre el reacondicionamiento de barcos y me encantaría volver cuando los Países Bajos estén un poco más cálidos. También conocí a muchos amigos de Thomas, que trabajan y viven también en barcos, lo cual fue estupendo. Eso fue realmente una experiencia increíble junto a Thomas y Winfall! Conocí a muchas personas allí y pude aprender muchas cosas. En particular, todo lo relacionado con la pintura y el lijado. Lo que más me gustó fue el aspecto mecánico de la estancia cuando trabajábamos en el motor, aunque no me sentía al máximo personalmente, descubrí mucho sobre ese aspecto de la mecánica de barcos y de la vida a bordo! Guardaré un muy buen recuerdo de esta experiencia; poder volver algún día sería increíble. 10/10 para todo

My stay in Almere was incredible, Thomas is super nice person, too nice for this world, my days working felt like nothing , because the boat is beautiful just like his owner. Positivity and kindness are the day a day feeling , Thomas friends that are always around are beautiful people, I could see beavers 🦫 swimming around beaver bar, that is close to Thomas house, because he is so cool that cool beavers move next to catch some vibe .my hours of work always respected, communication with thom always no problema and tasks just like the publication

I really enjoyed my time on the boat with Captain Thomas, as an experienced skipper and world Traveller he is a well of information for everything regarding ships and the boat. I spend my week helping him refit the boat and getting her the boat ready again. Thomas is very flexible in his work schedule and open to new ideas. The food is fully included and there is great care put into making it a mixed diet. You truly get a feeling for what its like to live onboard a ship and the nice/warm community around it. I look forward to coming back 🙌🏻

I had a great experience volunteering on the boat. From the very beginning, I felt warmly welcomed by Thomas — he's kind, generous, and a great captain. The work and adventures on board can be physically challenging, so I recommend this experience to those who are ready to step out of their comfort zone and try something different. The boat is still under renovation, and the overall vibe feels a bit like camping — simple, adventurous, and close to nature. A truly authentic and memorable experience

About my experience on Thomas' boat, it was really something unique. Thomas is a respectful, kind person and has a radical sailor vibe haha He gave me many days off beyond what was agreed, which was great for exploring the city. However, I have to say that the boat may not be ready to receive volunteers, due to the lack of a bathroom inside and the one outside being very dirty, and some other things like lack of electricity and water as well. But I believe that anyone looking for a really cool experience can do well. I wish Thomas many adventures and thank you for welcoming me :)
