I arrived extremely stressed after a long travel day but immediately upon meeting Simona I felt ease. I cannot say good enough things about her. She is so easy & fun to talk to. And truly a pure being. She 100% made sure my stay was great & explained everything very clearly. I watched her children the first 2 days & the cats the entire week of my stay. The kids are super easy and sweet -mostly played on their devices when mom was away haha. And the cats are gentle and super friendly. And max upstairs is so kind!! I took daytrips to Zurich, Baden, & Lucerne which were lovely. Thank you!

Estaba bastante nervioso antes de llegar porque era mi primer viaje en solitario y una experiencia de voluntariado fuera de mi país. Pero cuando llegué, me sentí a gusto. Esta fue mi primera experiencia en Worldpackers y ¡lo pasé genial! Simona y sus hijos son muy dulces y fueron muy acogedores y me hicieron sentir como en casa. Las tareas eran simples y el vecindario era tranquilo y hermoso. Recomiendo plenamente esta experiencia de voluntariado; ¡tuve un tiempo increíble aquí :)

Esta fue mi primera experiencia con Worldpackers y no podría haber elegido a nadie mejor que Simona. En cuanto llegué me sentí como en casa; Simona y sus hijos fueron las personas más amables que he conocido y fue una experiencia increíble. La comunicación fue excelente y Simona siempre me decía qué ayuda se necesitaba ese día. Mis dos meses en la casa de Simona fueron un tiempo muy especial por el que estoy muy agradecido. Fui recibido calurosamente desde el principio y me sentí como en casa. Pasé mucho tiempo jugando con los niños y con el gato y me reí. Extraño mucho a la hermosa Isabel (5 años), que siempre venía a mí para mostrarme al gato Popcorn. También recuerdo con mucho cariño a Elaine (7 años), con su gran creatividad y sus maravillosos sueños. David también permanece en mi corazón, con su nudo de judo, sus danzas y sus juegos alegres.

Fue mi primera experiencia con Worldpackers, y honestamente no podría haber sido mejor. Me sentí muy bien recibido. Las tareas eran simples, y cuando surgía algo inesperado, lo resolvimos juntos. Simona es una persona increíble: muy generosa, comprensiva y con un gran corazón. Siempre que necesitaba algo, ella estaba ahí para ayudar con paciencia y flexibilidad. Aprendí mucho sobre la cultura suiza, pude viajar por Suiza y ver aún más de lo que tenía planeado. Los niños son encantadores y fáciles de conocer; jugamos, reímos y nos divertimos mucho juntos. Volunteering at Simona's home was a truly grounding and heartwarming experience. From day one, I felt safe, welcomed, and free to be myself. Simona is transparent, respectful, and her family has a beautiful energy. Taking care of the kids was easy and enjoyable; they're independent, sweet, and fun to be around. The village of Remetschwil is quiet and surrounded by nature, perfect for those who enjoy a slower pace, and at the same time, it's well-connected.

My experience with Simona and her kids was incredible. I felt really confortable from the beginning, all the hours and days are respected as it says on the app, and one week I even had to change the days that I could work because I had to fly unexpectedly and Simona was really flexible and understanding. The position really says it all, I sometimes cooked, watched for the kids, but most of all was helping around the house with cleaning and making order. I really recommend this volunteering position!

I absolutely loved my time with Simona! From the moment I arrived, she greeted me with warmth and excitement right away at the baggage claim. This comforted all my fears immediately of traveling solo to a new Country. The upstairs apartment was clean, modern, and very spacious - an ideal home away from home. Simona went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and cared for in many ways. I highly recommend spending time with Simona and helping out with her lovely children and beautiful home. It truly was a memorable and heartwarming experience.
