Esta fue mi primera vez usando worldpackers. Y seguramente no será la última… Durante mi tiempo quedándome con los Rebels, pude pasar mucho tiempo con sus increíbles hijos, mejoré mis habilidades de carpintería y adquirí un montón de conocimientos aleatorios por aquí y por allá. Este lugar fue 100% adecuado para mí y estoy muy agradecido por toda su amabilidad y generosidad. Intentar expresar con palabras lo que sentí y cómo quedarme allí me afectó es muy desafiante… Se trata de todos los pequeños momentos, los consejos de vida que Niels me dio en nuestros trayectos por las montañas y de las conversaciones perspicaces que tuve con Stephanie.

Quedarse en la granja fue una experiencia tan encantadora!! El lugar en sí es increíble, y compartirlo con una familia tan agradable lo hizo aún más especial. Me hicieron sentir como en casa desde el primer día. El trabajo está bien, son súper tranquilos. Los perros y los gatos también fueron un buen complemento para la experiencia. Ya extraño el lugar y espero poder volver pronto :)

La granja es tan especial! Es muy agradable tener la oportunidad de aprender más sobre otra forma de vida, especialmente en un espacio en el que todos están interesados en compartirla contigo. Me sentí tan bienvenido y fue tan importante para mí hacer voluntariado con adolescentes: enseñar, pero aprender, compartir y escuchar sus sentimientos y su visión de la vida al mismo tiempo. Lo mismo con los niños, que siempre pueden estar presentes. Colette, Louis, Henri y Jacques son tan inteligentes, pero completamente diferentes entre sí, lo que hace que la experiencia sea tan rica. Niels y Stephanie son generosos, divertidos y receptivos.

Mi estancia allí fue muy significativa para mí. La familia es muy acogedora. Las tareas fueron súper fáciles y me alegró hacerlas. La casa y el entorno, perfecto para la desintoxicación. This was my first time with WorldPackers and I could not have had a better experience. I absolutely loved my time with Stephanie, Niels, the kiddos and all the animals - I truly felt like part of the family! The location is breathtakingly beautiful and really allows you to slow down and appreciate everything. I really enjoyed cooking for the family and got to improve my skills in the kitchen while falling in love with the vegan lifestyle (fully left as a vegan too)! Everyday was filled with laughs and good conversation and I highly recommend this experience - you won't be disappointed 🥰

I had a really great time during my stay! I enjoyed the peace and quite of the nature and going for a run with the dogs in the morning. Niels and Stephanie have 4 amazing children and you can always share a laugh with every single one of them. This is the kind of experience nobody knows they need. 🌞

I had a truly wonderful experience staying with Niels and Stephanie. I joined them as a amateur cook, and it was the perfect opportunity to grow my cooking skills and explore the world of plant-based food. Niels and Stephanie are incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive – especially when it came to my meal ideas and kitchen experiments. They have four lovely, social kids who were always up for playing board games, going on walks, swimming in the pool, and helping out in the kitchen. All in all, amazing people and a beautiful place. I highly recommend this experience!

Thank you so much to the whole family, it was definitely the best first experience as a volunteer with Worldpackers. I leave with a heart full of beautiful memories, and special thanks to Loui, who not only became a great friend but also felt like a brother to me. Niels, thanks to you, many of the ways I saw or understood life and the world around us have changed. A genius ahead of his time hahaha. Without a doubt, El Serrato will always be a part of me!

This was a gorgeous experience. I loved living with Niels, Stephanie, their four children, and many cats and dogs. I felt welcomed immediately into their warm home and family. I really enjoyed the work - painting walls - and the time spent with the family and other volunteers. The house is deep in the mountains, and I went on walks every morning with the dogs. I hope to go back! Thank you for this experience :)
