Hola, soy una profesora local que enseña inglés a niños y jóvenes (algunos con dificultades de aprendizaje que requieren atención adicional) en Galle, Sri Lanka. An option to study for an online TEFL teaching qualification whilst gaining classroom experience.

You will assist me on fixed days & hours in the classes. This will involve:
- supporting the local English trainee in creating lessons and improve her administrative computer skills which will be beneficial to him/her in their future studies or career.
- during class, you will support me with the children that need some extra help because of their learning difficulties
- you help me to make sure the kids come in and leave the premises safely (as mentioned some children are in need of extra assistance)
- this is a place where kids not only improve their English skills but also strengthen their social skills. This is why you will play a very important role as children love to hear your stories.
- please note that this is not a teaching position as you will mainly support and assist me. Together we can make sure the kids get the most out of their learning experience
- you need to take care of the teaching area, your living space and kitchen area with respect as if it was your own.
