Pasé un mes y medio en el hotel, y fue una experiencia enriquecedora. Me permitió descubrir la cultura filipina mientras también mejoraba mis habilidades en hospitalidad. Michael, su familia y todo el personal fueron encantadores; recomiendo encarecidamente hacer el curso de buceo con ellos y aprovechar al máximo la vida marina que rodea al hotel. También sugiero seguir sus recomendaciones para realmente sumergirte y conocer las Filipinas en profundidad. Sin duda es una experiencia que siempre llevaré conmigo. :)

Estuvo bastante genial. Terminé quedándome más tiempo y tuve mi propia habitación durante mi estadía de 6 semanas con vista al océano. La comida es bastante buena. La zona es muy buscada por buzos y practicantes de snorkel, así que si eso es lo tuyo, te encantará. Hay tantas criaturas por ver. El trabajo en sí es fácil y Neriza y Michael son muy amables. Trabajé 6 horas, 5 días a la semana, ya sea empezando o terminando mi turno a las 2 p.m., así que siempre había tiempo para hacer algo más durante el día. También eran flexibles si necesitaba un día libre específico. El resto del personal es súper amable, súper amable y respetuoso.

I had an amazing experience. Impossible to describe in 600 caracteres how much I liked it. The place is beautiful, quiet, full of nature, the house reef is precious, and you can see many species. The room is comfortable, the meals are delicious and the staff is so nice. The mission is very interesting, I learned a lot and loved the contact with the guests, I met so many amazing people. Michael and his family will have a special place in my heart, they were so lovely, loved our conversations. They are involved in projects locally, and deeply connected to the ocean. I hope to come back soon.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The work hours were good, free food during work days and half price on my days off. Using snorkeling equipment is free and the hotel is right at the ocean. You are able to get a PADI diving course and dives for reduced prices as well!! The owners, staff and fellow volunteers are really lovely people and was fun talking with them. I wish them all the best moving forward! the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, which makes it very peaceful, but highly incentivises to get a motorbike for ~5000 PHP at a rent shop for a month. Would come here again for diving 😁

Volunteering at the hotel was an amazing experience! We stayed at a beautiful the hotel, helped with admin tasks, and connected with international travellers and friendly local staff. A perfect mix of work, culture, and community.
