Después de dos meses en la finca de Sandra y Jonathan, puedo decir que ha sido una experiencia increíble, súper enriquecedora, que me permitió aprender muchísimas cosas nuevas (ordeñar entre las más divertidas!!) y conocer a personas que me llevo en mi corazón. El trabajo es bastante duro al principio si no estás acostumbrado a levantar pesos a caminar durante muchas horas, pero dentro de nada vuelve a ser una buena rutina para tu mente y tu cuerpo. Las tareas son las más variadas entre la finca (principalmente) y el airbnb. *Hay que caminar una hora (o hacer autostop) para tomar el bus.

Este fue mi primer voluntariado, y no podría haber sido más maravilloso. Tuve la suerte de conectar profundamente con la naturaleza y con los animales en un lugar encantador, rodeada de una vista espectacular.Me recibió una familia extraordinaria que desde el primer momento, me cuidó con atención y cariño.Con ellos compartí muchísimos momentos felices desde excursiones hasta cenas en familia, creando recuerdos que llevaré siempre conmigo.El trabajo estaba bien organizado en todos los aspectos, y en todo momento me sentí acompañada y valorada. Estoy infinitamente agradecida por esta experiencia

Sandra and Jonathan are really nice. The farm is great and the animals very cute. Be aware that you have to walk one hour and more when you want to get into town, although you always can ask Sandra and Jonathan when they ll do their grocery shopping and they give you a ride

I had an unforgettable stay, thank you Sandra and Jonathan! From the moment I arrived, they welcomed me with a lot of kindness and quickly made me feel at home. I learned so much during this experience, especially about the animals, life on the farm, and living as close to nature as possible. Taking care of the animals was one of my favourite parts, and I'm really going to miss them all. Sandra and Jonathan are lovely, caring people and are always available if you need anything. I also loved meeting the other volunteers and sharing this experience with them (Noemi, Ansgar and Ana 🫶🏻)

I'm so grateful I had the chance to volunteer here. Sandra and Jonathan are incredibly kind, always available, and very flexible. They really take the time to teach you and share their knowledge about the farm, nature, animals, and sustainable living. I learned so much during my stay, which made the experience even more meaningful. The accommodation was great, and it was also an amazing opportunity to meet volunteers from all over the world. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful, and full of wildlife. I'm leaving with wonderful memories and would definitely recommend.

I spent one month in the farm with Sandra and Jonathan, and it was incredible. I had the opportunity the learn about farming, animals and plants. Sandra and Jonathan are very supportive and always available to help out the volunteers, also the accomodation provided was really good. I had a great time there, I was able to practice my Spanish meet people from different countries and visit incredible places in Costa Rica. The work in the farm can be tiring, but it's totally rewarded by what you learn, the places you can visit and the full immersion in the nature that you are gonna experience.

Loved this place! Sandra and Jonathan were amazing and wonderful hosts. The rules at the farm were clear and reasonable. I learned a lot about the animals on the farm. They helped me during my stay with spanish and finding the right busses. Really enjoyed my time in here and definitely recommend if you want to live bit off the grid and not in the city! Also the sunsets from the apartment were beautiful! 🤩🌅

My experience at Sandra and Jonathan's farm was amazing, they are always so attentive, flexible, and friendly towards their volunteers and we always felt we had support during our stay there. The house in which volunteers stay at is in good condition and I never had problems with cleanliness or anything else there, the hosts make sure to remind their volunteers that the place should always be kept clean, so in my experience everybody helped one another in keeping the space maintained. The work was not super difficult, a little physical but you get used to it quickly. I would do this again!!!!

J'ai adoré mon expérience! Sandra et Jonathan sont de supers hôtes. Nous avons accès à un grand appartement bien aménagé et chacun a sa chambre privée. J'ai rencontré des gens exceptionnels durant mon séjour. J'ai eu énormément de plaisirs à m'occuper des animaux et de la ferme. Il y a aussi des petits projets par-ci, par-là pour améliorer la ferme. Nous avons toujours du temps libre entre les tâches pour aller en ville (Nicoya) ou à la plage durant nos jours de congé. Je recommande grandement :))

Jonathan and Sandra are wonderful hosts. The apartment was cozy and rustic and my roommates were awesome. The work was easy but the weather was hot but that's what I like. The beach was an hour by bus and easy to access. I will go back!
