We're looking for a friendly volunteer to help with night duties at our cozy hostel. 🌙✨
You’ll cover reception two mornings a week, hostel night close and be on call overnight. Don’t worry , you can sleep and only wake up if someone actually has an "emergency".

We require around 12h of your time, now mainly focused on two morning reception shifts (9am–1pm) and some hostel closing duties at night. Ideally, you already have some reception experience, but training can be provided if needed.
Additionally, we have an emergency phone which you will be required to keep with you at all times. This phone only rings if there is an actual emergency (training provided) or if someone is having trouble with our self check-in kiosk.
In exchange, you will have the luxury of your own queen ensuite bedroom with access to a private kitchen.
(Note: This role is just 12 hours a week, less than our housekeeping/maintenance shifts , because we think handling the extra responsibilities deserves a little extra chill time to enjoy hostel life!)
9am-1pm : Reception (handling check outs, laundry, emails etc...)
10:30pm-11pm : Closing up the hostel
We’re looking for someone reliable to take on this role. Ideally, you’d stay for at least 6 weeks, the longer, the better!
This position is perfect for someone who might want to find a job alongside their volunteering hours, with plenty of cafés and restaurants in town.
Couples are welcome, but the role is designed for one person. Partners can still get involved by helping out in other ways, such as housekeeping, maintenance, or gardening.
