Nuestro tiempo en el hostal fue realmente increíble. El trabajo es ligero y manejable. El equipo es un sueño, tan divertido y fácil de pasar el rato con. Tienes mucho tiempo para ti mismo después del trabajo y, si lo prefieres, nunca tendrás un día aburrido en el hostal. El hostal es uno de los hostales más agradables y acogedores que he conocido y, honestly, no creo que pueda superarse. tiene una variedad de juegos, libros, mesas de billar y una piscina, lo cual es genial para encontrar un hostal en el que quieras pasar el rato y no solo dormir. la carga de trabajo es ligera y está repartida de forma equitativa entre los voluntarios que trabajan de 9:30 a 12:30, para que tengas el resto del día para disfrutar. el personal es tan dulce y amistoso que de alguna manera harás amigos con todos en unas 24 horas. en general, un lugar increíble que definitivamente recomiendo a cualquier otro viajero

I volunteer at the hostel for about a month together with my girlfriend, and the experience was absolutely amazing. When we arrived we were positively stunned at how cozy the hostel was, the pictures alone doesn't do it justice. We immediately felt very welcomed and taken care of. The workload is very fair, the regular day consisted of working 3 hours in the morning, doing housekeeping or maintenance. There's a lot to discover around Port Macquarie, from great beaches and restaurants, to amazing nature reserves. I can't recommend the hostel enough. If you get the chance, go!

Voluntariado en el hostel fue realmente increíble. El personal era tan amable y amistoso, las horas eran razonables y aún tenías tiempo suficiente para darte un chapuzón en la piscina y relajarte después del turno. Aprendimos cómo funciona un hostel así tras bambalinas y estuvimos muy agradecidos de adquirir algunas habilidades de limpieza y jardinería. También creamos profundas amistades y conexiones con los otros voluntarios. En resumen, la vida en Port Macquarie y en el hostel es genial y siempre lo volveríamos a hacer :)) <3

¡Lo pasé muy bien en el albergue! El personal es muy acogedor y Alex & Jonathan organizaron algunas actividades divertidas. El albergue tiene una atmósfera muy agradable. Los miembros del personal tienen su propia zona con cabinas y un baño. Port Macquarie en sí es una ciudad bonita y bastante tranquila.

The hostel was the perfect spot to start my journey around Australia. Staff and other volunteers were all so sound. The work is reasonable and they are happy to accommodate your schedule so you can pick up paid work around the town! Staff do their best to make sure you feel comfortable and included. I'll miss the place x

My stay at the hostel was wonderful! There is nothing to complain about, the work is super chilled and I really enjoyed working together in a team with the other volunteers. Also the private cabins that you share as volunteers are super cozy and the facilities in general very nice to just spend the day around. We had so many fun nights together and with the hostel guests, that it's not a problem that the town itself is quite calm :) Thank you so much to Mathilde and Vanessa for always making sure that I'm feeling good and for being so welcoming!

Lovely place, lovely people! Volunteering here has been one of my best experiences. Everyone was so kind and fun. The staff area could be improved a bit, but everything else was really great.

I had a really good experience at the hostel! I met a lot of incredible people and had a lot of fun! The tasks are so simple and really flexible. I would highly recommend this volunteer if you want to experience and travel around port Macquarie. The hostel was so lovely and confortable.

I had an amazing time at the hostel! Matilde, Sarah and the entire team were incredibly welcoming and great to hang out with. The working hours were totally reasonable and left plenty of free time. I'm so grateful for all the memories I made there and will definitely be back!
