Mi estancia en la granja y Faroukh fue absolutamente maravillosa. ¡Son los guardianes más amables de la tierra y tienen un montón de conocimiento sobre la naturaleza, las plantas, la construcción, la tierra, la historia y la vida en general! Fue una experiencia verdaderamente estupenda pasar dos semanas con ellos y nunca olvidaré su generosidad y cómo abrieron su casa a un completo desconocido como yo. Aprendí mucho sobre plantas y árboles, algunos trucos nuevos sobre construcción y reparaciones, y compartimos muchas risas y buena comida. ¡Recomiendo encarecidamente esta oportunidad de Worldpackers a todos!

La granja fue tan amable y acogedora desde el principio. Ella se sintió exactamente como mi verdadera abuela, y pude sentirme como en casa. Su comida fue absolutamente increíble — tan buena que a veces me sentía culpable por comer comidas tan deliciosas por la cantidad de trabajo que hice! Estaba rodeada de naturaleza real lejos de la ciudad. Fue un poco difícil acostumbrarme a un estilo de vida diferente al de la ciudad, pero la granja me llevó a pescar y a la playa, para que también pudiera disfrutar de mi tiempo libre. Creo que este lugar es especialmente ideal para quienes conducen. Por supuesto, también está bien incluso sin un coche!

I planned to stay with the farm for a week and ended up staying for three because I enjoyed it! the farm truly welcomes you into her home like extended family and the property is beautiful. If you work hard you will be rewarded with delicious lunches and groceries for you to prepare your own dinner/breakfast. I truly felt like I was getting a taste of Australian life and I really enjoyed refurbishing furniture, helping with renovation work and tidying. On rest days the farm took me fishing or to the local beach and the evenings are chilled with films.

My friend and I had the best time staying with the farm! Her property is lovely but she is the true gem at DreamAcres. She is extremely generous: taking us to see local places, letting us borrow her car, cooking amazing meals for us, and even allowing us to stay in her bedroom while her usual guest space was occupied. the farm had the most interesting stories and a lot to teach us about life on land- I feel as though I left her farm with a healthier mindset than when I arrived. The work itself here is matched to your capabilities, I recommend to anyone who's willing to put in effort!

The farm made us feel welcome right off the bat! She made us feel like family and told us to make ourselves at home in the kitchen whenever we feel like. She was also kind enough to let us use her car whenever we wanted (brave because we're American and not used to driving in the left, but all went well!). She even let us take her room to have two beds. The workload was as promised, if not a little lighter because she knew we are new to the whole farm life, but we still learned a lot and got to plant our own goodbye trees! Also, the dogs are amazing :). I would definitely stay here again!

Oh Raegan‼️¡Ya extraño tus risitas!!! En cuanto a más trabajo - bueno, no tenía el corazón sabiendo que ninguno de ustedes tenía experiencia previa como trabajadores agrícolas. Pero ambos hicieron un trabajo increíble con la poda de arbustos🙏❣️ Quizá haga falta un poco más de habilidad para dejar libre de manchas una pared de vidrio de 5,8 m🤣🤣‼️❣️👍

I have been at the farm's beautiful property for two weeks, where i had the pleasure to work with/for her in exchange of a nice private room, private bathroom and meals.. I highly recommend this place if you are a solo traveler or a couple looking for a place to stay in Queensland for a while; The property is 20-25 minutes with car from the big city called Bundaberg.
