Kirta Touch The Needy Centre
J'offre un environnement propice aux bénévoles pour soutenir mon organisation tout en apprenant davantage sur notre communauté. Je vis dans le plus grand bidonville d'Afrique; cet environnement est déjà une leçon pour nos bénévoles, car ils feront face à une vie qu'ils n'ont jamais connue auparavant et cela aura un grand impact sur leur vie et leur laissera également une expérience durable.
Je proposerai le soutien nécessaire dans la mesure de mes moyens. Pendant leur période de bénévolat, je veillerai à ce qu'ils apprennent énormément de la communauté en les emmenant pour leur faire découvrir la région.

Ali, Irene, Hawa, Lucy, Gaste et toutes les autres personnes impliquées dans les nombreux projets de la communauté, je vous remercie tous de m’avoir accueillie au sein de la communauté de Kibera et de m’avoir fait me sentir importante et partie des belles choses que la communauté est en train de faire. Le travail que la communauté réalise est incroyablement essentiel, et quiconque offre son temps et son cœur à eux verra presque certainement sa perspective de vie changer pour toujours.

Volunteering at the community in Kenya through Worldpackers was life-changing. Abdul, Irene, Hawa, the teachers, cooks, and the entire team warmly welcomed me, making my stay unforgettable. Abdul is a true champion. The work he does in the community is incredible and has a huge impact on the lives of local children and girls. Furthermore, he is a great person, super friendly and great to be with. The only point of improvement, but which for me is quite relevant, is about what is expected from a volunteer to do. There is a lack of structure and routine of the daily tasks to be carried out by the volunteer. I believe that by implementing this, the next volunteers will be able to generate a greater impact

When I chose to apply for the community's the community project, I didn't even imagine what I would find here. It has been the most beautiful experience of my life. Abdul is the man with the biggest heart I have ever met in my life. Always ready to take care of you, to think of your safety and well-being first. Every person who works in the community is a blessing from God. Abdul, Irene, Hawa, Lillo, Gaste each one of them has taught me a lot this month. the community welcomes you as if you were one of the family, I felt at home. I am infinitely grateful to them for this experience.

Ali, is like a big brother to those around him. He took excellent care of me and always prioritized my safety while I was volunteering. The kids and people in the community were incredibly friendly, making the experience even more special. Abdul also made sure I was well-fed, which I really appreciated. I gained a deep understanding of the local living conditions and culture, which was truly enriching. There were a variety of activities to get involved, keeping every day engaging and fulfilling. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a meaningful volunteering experience!
