Working with MCC was probably one of the coolest experiences I've had in the organization (and that's coming from someone who has been coming to the organization for years)! Be prepared to dive in (literally) and help with reef cleanups, seahorse surveys, the organization mammal surveys, literature reviews, and sea grass surveys. I appreciated that even though I only volunteered for 2 weeks with the org, I felt like I was part of the team and given all training I needed. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and just fun to be around. I'm an art historian and loved getting more scientific insights into the art I study!
