We're looking for responsible, proactive volunteers who enjoy meeting people, creating a fun atmosphere, and helping us build an unforgettable hostel experience.
It would be 4 days reception, 1 days cleaning & 2 free days. (the hostel owners are involved in all those activities as well!)
You'll get a bed in a shared dorm and a simple breakfast.
28 heures d'aide par semaine
Nettoyage: Aider Ă nettoyer la cuisine, les chambres, les salles de bain et les espaces communs.
Administration: Aider avec les systèmes de réservation et les paiements.
Entretien ménager: Aider à changer les draps et à l'entretien ménager général.
Réception: Aider aux enregistrements, départs et assistance aux clients.
2 jours de congé par semaine
Dortoir partagé: Vous aurez un lit dans une chambre partagée, ce qui signifie que vous partagerez la même chambre avec d'autres voyageurs.
Petit-déjeuner: Vous avez droit à un petit-déjeuner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

We're looking for sociable, responsible and proactive volunteers who love meeting people, creating a fun atmosphere, and helping us build an unforgettable hostel experience from the ground up.
We ask for 5-6 hours/day at the reception and iteracting with guests in exchange for a bed in top location and a simple breakfast.
We are 3 minutes from the metro, 10 from the beach.
We opened our hostel in May 2026, so everything is still growing and evolving. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys contributing ideas and helping shape a hostel, rather than simply following an established routine.
We currently have seven rooms, including three private rooms. Our volunteers stay in the same shared dorms as our guests, which helps create a genuine social environment.
Our goal is to become one of Rio's most social hostels. We want guests to leave with new friends and unforgettable memories, not just a place to sleep. Every volunteer contributes to creating that atmosphere.
Because we're a new hostel, things may change as we improve our systems and processes. We appreciate volunteers who are flexible, adaptable, and excited to grow with us.
Our reception is open daily from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM, with shifts typically lasting 5–6 hours per day.
Before creating the weekly schedule, we'll ask for your preferred days off. We do our best to accommodate everyone's preferences, but volunteers should be flexible, as we usually rotate between morning and evening shifts to keep the schedule fair.
As a reception volunteer, you'll be one of the main faces of the hostel. More than anything, we're looking for someone who enjoys talking to people and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Your responsibilities include:
- Welcoming guests and assisting with check-in and check-out.
- Handling cash and card payments accurately.
- Selling drinks and keeping track of sales.
- Counting the fridge stock at the beginning and end of every shift.
- Making sure drink sales match the payments received.
- Answering guest questions and sharing local recommendations.
- Sending guest information and important messages when needed.
- Keeping the reception and common areas tidy.
- Reporting maintenance issues or anything unusual.
- Encouraging guests to meet each other and join activities.
As a new hostel, we're constantly improving our systems and processes, so we're looking for volunteers who are adaptable and comfortable with change. Some evening shifts may also include hosting a simple activity, such as a movie night or helping organize a social evening for our guests.

O respeito com os hóspedes é fundamental em todos os momentos, tanto na comunicação quanto no dia a dia dentro do hostel.
Esperamos também que você se integre bem com a equipe e goste de interagir com as pessoas. Incentivamos uma vibe social, então é legal quando você conversa com hóspedes, inclui outras pessoas nas atividades e, por exemplo, convida outros para participar quando for sair, ir a uma festa ou fazer algo em grupo.
A ideia é que todos contribuam para um ambiente acolhedor e social 🙂
