This was my first Worldpackers trip and words can't describe how incredible it was! Staying with Simon and Milena felt much more like a dream vacation than volunteering. They are exceptionally kind, welcoming and caring hosts who drove me to breathtaking local spots and made me feel right at home. The help was super easy (~2 hours a day with light gardening or meal prep), leaving tons of time to explore surroundings and meet amazing people. I loved every second so much that I even extended my stay. If you have the chance to stay, take it without hesitation. I couldn't recommend it more :)

Milena y Simone fueron los mejores! Yo tuve que trabajar remotamente entre semana en las tardes y ellos fueron muy flexibles en respectar mi horario laboral y buscar actividades en la mañana y medio día para conectarme con la vida local. Me llevo enormes recuerdos y nuevas amigas. Una experiencia increíble

I don't have enough words to express how beautiful this experience was. Milena and Simone gave me not only the opportunity of the house, but also their warmth and experiences. The place is beautiful, the work was the easiest thing to do, and Loki and Emma were so welcoming too. I highly recommend this volunteer if it is your first experience abroad or if you want to connect with the environment and people. Finally, the lakes were gorgeous, and the area was covered with tons of history. Para colombianos: Parce, acá es una chimba, si quiere parcharse este es el mejor lugar :)

Ho passato una bellissima settimana immersa nella routine della casa di Milena e Simone e conoscere un nuovo modo di vivere. Sono due persone accoglienti e mi hanno fatto sentire a casa. Aiutare nel loro progetto e condividere della vita quotidiana con loro e gli altri volontari/pellegrini mi ha aperto la mente e mi ha fatto stare bene. È stato il mio primo viaggio da sola e tornerò a trovarli sicuramente. Consiglio anche ad altri di fermarsi qui, conoscere e ascoltare una realtà opposta a quelle a cui ci si abitua a inseguire in città.

Milena and Simone are very kind, hospitable, and welcoming hosts who want to get to know you, spend time together, and make the most of your stay. They were willing to help us both before our arrival with practicalities and while volunteering, driving us on their own initiative to different places and shops to show us the surroundings, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the culture, meet the locals, and have the best time while volunteering. The place is very nice, surrounded by nature, and Milena and Simone have two dogs that are very friendly.

I highly recommend staying at the home. The hosts Milena and Simone are lovely, kind and very helpful. I felt like I was at home. My tasks involved tending to the garden, cleaning and some light cooking, which was around 2 hours or less a day. Their house is beautiful, and is situated in a very peaceful area in Bollengo. The area has quite a lot of nearby hiking trails and is good for cycling. Milena and Simone were also kind to show me some of the beautiful lakes nearby for a swim.
