Détails du programme

We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and open-minded volunteers who are passionate about ocean conservation. As a volunteer, you may help us with coral restoration and coral transplanting activities in Gili Asahan. Since some of these activities take place underwater, volunteers must have a minimum Open Water Diver certification and be comfortable diving in ocean conditions.

In return, you will learn about coral reefs and reef fish, gain hands-on experience in coral restoration techniques, and understand why healthy coral reefs are so important for marine biodiversity, coastal communities, and the future of our oceans. You'll also have the opportunity to experience island life and work alongside a passionate conservation team.

Activités et horaires

A typical day starts at 8:00 AM. Volunteers will join two dives per day to assist with coral restoration, transplantation, and reef monitoring in Gili Asahan. In the afternoon, we work on data entry and other project-related tasks, followed by learning sessions or presentations about coral reefs, marine life, and conservation

Règles

We ask all volunteers to be respectful of fellow team members, guests, and the local community. Please be mindful of local customs and culture, maintain a positive attitude, and help create a friendly and supportive environment for everyone. We also expect volunteers to treat the ocean, marine life, and our facilities with care and responsibility.
