Join us on our organic ranch in Costa Rica! We especially need gardeners and people with skills in building, welding, woodworking, or carpentry. You may also help with cleaning, caring for chickens and ducks, maintaining crops, planting, clearing grass, or restoring our greenhouse. We welcome practical, responsible volunteers who enjoy animals, nature, and hands-on work. 🐓

We are looking for volunteers who would like to support the daily care and development of our organic ranch.
The skills we currently need most are, in order of priority:
• Gardeners and people with a green thumb.
• Builders, welders, woodworkers, and carpenters.
• Cleaning and household help.
• Chicken coop caretakers.
• Artists.
The activities vary according to the ranch’s current needs and the volunteer’s skills. We especially appreciate practical people who can work responsibly and contribute their knowledge and experience.
We can host only one or two volunteers at a time. When two people stay with us, they will share the same room and sleep side by side.
Volunteers help approximately 5 hours per day and have 1 day off per week.
Activities may include:
• Mowing and clearing grass.
• Weeding and mulching.
• Pruning and maintaining crops and plantations.
• Planting and transplanting.
• Preparing and improving vegetable-growing areas.
• Helping us recover or reinvent the damaged greenhouse.
• Feeding and caring for chickens and ducks.
• Supporting building, welding, woodworking, or carpentry projects.
• Helping with cleaning and household tasks.
• Contributing artistic skills when applicable.
Tasks will depend on current priorities and each volunteer’s abilities. 🌱
Accommodation 🏡
We can host only one or two people at a time. Two volunteers will share the same room, sleeping side by side.
You will stay in a simple, camping-style gallery room inside our open-air home. It includes:
• Mosquito netting and a fan.
• Two individual beds that can be stacked into one.
• Linens, pillows, and towels.
• Hangers and a shelf for your belongings.
The room provides some personal space, but it is not completely private or soundproof because it is inside our shared, open-air home. If you leave the door open, our cats may come inside to visit. Our cats and dogs also move freely through the communal areas. 🐈
You will share our kitchen but have a designated guest bathroom and hot shower.
Volunteers are responsible for keeping their bedroom, bathroom, shower, and shared spaces clean. Before leaving, these areas must be returned to their original condition.
Food, drinks, and smoking are not allowed inside the bedroom.

We have fast and reliable Starlink Wi-Fi.
Food and shared meals 🍉
You are welcome to join us at the table and help prepare meals, wash dishes, and clean up afterward.
For anything special you would like to purchase or prepare for yourself, there is a small grocery store only a few minutes away on foot.
Toiletries and bathroom 🚿
Please bring your own biodegradable and environmentally friendly shampoo, conditioner, soap, creams, and other personal-care products.
Health and safety 🩹
The nearest hospital is approximately one hour away, and we only keep basic first-aid supplies on the ranch.
Please bring all medications you may need and inform us in advance about any important allergies, medical needs, or physical limitations.
