I had a wonderful experience with the Center 'family'. The setting is stunning and the whole team are a genuine, open and caring group of people. Volunteers are included and respected and made to feel an essential part of the operation. When guests were on site we had a super organised rota which allowed us to support all aspects of the operation and plan ahead for our own time off, taking part in the yoga and meditation classes where the rota allowed. A large part of volunteer work is cooking vegan food for the staff which I really enjoyed as it tested my imagination ;)

Coming to the Center was the best decision of my life! The people here are wonderful and make you feel apart of the family immediately, the work is enjoyable and the place it's self and the energy it carry's is absolutely beautiful! I would recommend this place to any spiritually conscious person that wants to learn and grow more, you won't regret it! Thank you MV and see you soon ❤️

One of the best experiences of my life so far! I could spend hours talking about this beautiful place and all the beautiful human being I met, but I think the proper way to really and deeply understand what can be experienced there is just going and staying there. If you are looking for something that allows you to remember to come home into yourself and your inner wisdom and at the same time to be truly inspired and enlighten by all the bright and vibrant souls who are living there or nearby, the Center is the place to be.

I am so grateful I had the chance to volunteer at the Center with an amazing team of such interesting people. I was able to explore the Algarve when I had my 2 days off and the team was so inclusive that I had the chance to participate to the meditations and yoga sessions offered by the holistic center. It helped me to find my balance since I had the opportunity to rest in that peaceful and beautiful working environement. When I was working, I had to help with the garden, housekeeping and cook vegan food with the vegetables available from the garden. Good energy, best experience ever

The best experience in the Center, good vibes, a beautiful place, quiet and connected to nature with a staff of wonderful people always worried if you are ok or need help. Together with the two volunteers we feel at home and part of the community. The work is well organized and on your days off you can get to know more of the surroundings, and also practice yoga, meditation and dance (I loved this class) I can only thank all especially Rich(Kurt) for sharing your wisdom and laughter, I hope come back soon. I wish them all the best. I miss them already.

Loved my stay at the Center, a beautiful place surrounded by nature and an amazing staff ❤ The only thing for me was that when the guests are here you don't have the same days-off and schedule than the others volunteers so can't really hang out with them... I learned a lot, food was amazing, the work was nice and you can come to the yoga and meditation class where the teachers are always ready to teach us things and answer your questions ! Recommend the experience ☺

Salut Lyne, merci pour le retour, ce fut un réel plaisir de t’avoir parmi nous ! Merci encore pour ton travail acharné et ta bonne compagnie ! Je voulais juste ajouter quelque chose à ton point sur le fait de ne pas avoir les mêmes jours de congé que les autres bénévoles, juste pour équilibrer un peu pour les autres bénévoles potentiels ! Donc oui, il arrive souvent que, pendant que les invités sont là, vous avez tous vos quarts de travail individuels et des jours de repos différents, mais lorsque les invités ne sont pas là (ce qui était le cas lors de la dernière semaine de ton séjour), vous avez tous travaillé aux mêmes horaires et avez des jours de repos ensemble, y compris le dernier week-end aussi. En tant que règle générale, j’essaie toujours de commencer les bénévoles quelques jours avant le début d’une retraite et d’en partir quelques jours après, afin que nous puissions tous passer un peu de temps ensemble en tant que groupe et communauté, mais malheureusement cela n’a pas été possible pour toi car tu étais un remplaçant de dernière minute, ce qui a signifié que tu es arrivée pendant une retraite plutôt qu’avant aussi ! It's an incredible place! Surrounded by nature and tranquility. It's a perfect place to connect with yourself and align with spirituality if that's what you are looking for. The staff is always well disposed and everyone is very friendly. Especially Karen and Ivan are lovely people and always make you laugh! It is important to know that it is far from the city so keep this in mind when choosing to stay there. Know how to drive a manual car or pay for a car to be able to move around because it is really far away. I had a nice experience! Very thankful for my time with them :)

Salut Sofia, c'était un vrai plaisir de t'avoir parmi nous et merci pour tes mots très gentils à notre égard ! Pour les futurs bénévoles potentiels, je vais juste donner un peu de contexte sur la distance qui nous sépare de Lagos, car votre avis peut être interprété de manière un peu variable ! Nous sommes à environ 15 minutes en voiture de Lagos (14 km) et il y a des bus qui circulent dès le matin, vers 07:30, et le dernier revient vers 18:30, cependant ils ne sont pas très fréquents. Il faut toutefois marcher environ 40 minutes pour atteindre l'arrêt de bus, sinon nous avons un vélo disponible pour s'y rendre, ou certains bénévoles utilisent le vélo pour aller jusqu'à Lagos. La plupart des jours, quelqu'un du site se rendra en ville à un moment donné, il est donc souvent possible d'y prendre un covoiturage (et parfois aussi pour le retour, bien que nous ne puissions pas garantir des places), et toute personne qui veut rester dehors tard prend généralement un Uber pour rentrer, surtout s'il y a un groupe, ou fait un voyage de quelques jours pendant les jours de repos et reste dehors. Cependant, je pense que l'essentiel est que notre retraite convient vraiment aux personnes motivées et à l'aise pour être en plein air et passer du temps avec la communauté; il est délicat d'aller très souvent en ville, car nous ne sommes pas vraiment équipés pour cela. Such an amazing place to be at, and the people are extremely welcoming and we (volunteers) immediately felt at home and part of their community which is more like a big family. During the stay everybody was very helpful, we had an amazing time, we could participate in many activities. This is a place for spiritual, conscious people, who love to engage in meaningful conversations, healthy living and surrounding themselves with nature. I would come back at any time!
