I loved everything about my trip to albania. Daniel was an amazing host and all people were always kind and respectful. My tasks were very easy to solve and didnt took too much time. I was in a non-tourist time so we only had a few guests and i had less to work than planned. The beach is 3 min away so my favourit activity was to go on long walks and enjoying the amazing sunsets. Golem is very beautiful and there are some small shops, but its all you need and i loved this life. Durres was also amazing especially if you want to shop a little bit. I hope to visit golem again.

The volunteering experience was smooth. We had the chance to get to know a bit of the local culture, and the work was very easy. We faced some challenges at the beginning, like 8 days of cold showers, and the meal allowance didn't cover all our food. Later, we were relocated to another hotel, and the manager was great and attentive. We stayed in a wonderful place. Overall, we had a good experience and are grateful for the volunteering opportunity.

A experiência foi calma por ser baixa temporada. Só havia o apartamento do anfitrião para limpar. O quarto individual era confortável. Mas houve pontos a melhorar: a carona do aeroporto não aconteceu como prometido, esperei horas e depois mandaram um táxi. Recebi 50€ para alimentação, mas em 10 dias não foi suficiente para três refeições por dia, então gastei dinheiro extra. O transporte público é limitado, então eu e outras voluntárias alugamos um carro para conseguir fazer passeios. Nenhuma atividade foi oferecida pelo anfitrião. Agradeço a oportunidade

Avisei ao proprietário previamente o dia e horário que chegaria, não recebi corretamente o endereço e a carona anunciada não foi oferecida, nem houve reembolso do táxi 40€. O anúncio informava três refeições diárias, o valor das compras foi insuficiente, e ao questionar, depois de vários dias, a diferença entre o anúncio e a realidade, o proprietário respondeu subitamente para eu deixar sua propriedade imediatamente. O gerente tentou contornar a situação e puder permanecer por mais uns dias, fiquei apenas uma noite mais e no outro dia usei a proteção do world packers.

Agradezco mucha su atención! Me divertí mucho al convivir con los del equipo al realizar las actividades en el hotel. Así también el lugar está cerca de la playa para. Ir a disfrutar 😁

My experience here was amazing, Lola and her family are very kind persons who makes you feel at home. The work is the typical hotel tasks, and if you organize yourself, you can be free at noon. The hotel is very beautiful, and the beach is amazing, is just 100 meters away. I highly recommend this experience

En general fue una buena experiencia, estuvimos ayudando con los desayunos para los huéspedes del hotel y con la limpieza de los cuartos , la comida nunca nos faltó y adicional a eso nos dieron una habitación grande y con baño solo para nosotros , tuvimos tiempo de conocer durres y estar frente al mar de golem viendo esos atardeceres tan bellos, lola y el resto de la familia de Daniel, fueron muy amables con nosotros , tuvimos un bueno momento ♥️

Daniel is a great person and a very flexible host. During my stay, the work was very easy since I went during the low season. The place is beautiful, with an amazing landscape. The accommodations were great. During the low season, there aren't many things to do, but it was still a very positive experience!

Daniel is a great person; he always treated us very well and, whenever he could, would sit with us for a chat. The work itself isn't difficult, and he's very flexible with the hours. As for Golem, during the low season, there isn't much to do, but the place is beautiful. I'd love to come back in the summer to enjoy it more.
