Create Art Inspired by Nature at Ṛtavan 🌿

Ṛtavan is a living forest campus in Canacona, South Goa, where nature, creativity, mindful living, and community come together.

We welcome creative travellers who would love to contribute their artistic talents to our space. Whether you enjoy painting, drawing, illustration, murals, crafts, photography, or creative installations, this is an opportunity to bring your ideas to life in a beautiful forest setting.

Our vision is to create a space where art and nature exist in harmony, inspired by the surrounding landscape and natural materials.

What you can contribute

- Create nature-inspired paintings, murals, and artistic details around the property.
- Design installations using natural and locally available materials.
- Make handmade decorations and visual elements for shared spaces.
- Explore eco-art, upcycling, and sustainable crafts.
- Help enhance our café, yoga spaces, and forest pathways through art.
- Share creative ideas that reflect the spirit of Ṛtavan.

We welcome different artistic styles and fresh perspectives. You don't need to be a professional artist; curiosity, creativity, initiative, and a willingness to contribute are what matter most.

Life at Ṛtavan

Spend your days surrounded by trees, fresh air, and the rhythms of nature. Experience the slower pace of South Goa, connect with fellow travellers, and contribute to a project that values ecological awareness, creativity, and conscious living.

We believe meaningful spaces evolve through the people who contribute to them. Your artistic expression can become part of the evolving identity of our forest campus.

Who can join?

Artists, painters, illustrators, designers, craft enthusiasts, photographers, art students, and self-taught creatives are welcome. We appreciate open-minded people who respect nature, enjoy working with their hands, and are happy to collaborate.

Bring your ideas, share your skills, and explore your creativity in a natural environment.

Come with your creativity. Leave a little of it in the forest.

Activités et horaires

Daily Activities

As an Arts & Creative Volunteer at Ṛtavan, you will help bring creativity into our living forest campus through artistic projects inspired by nature.

Your activities may include:

- Painting murals and creating artistic details around the property.
- Making nature-inspired art, crafts, and installations.
- Using natural or recycled materials for creative projects.
- Designing decorations and visual elements for our café and yoga spaces.
- Exploring ideas to make forest pathways and common areas more beautiful.
- Brainstorming, planning, and collaborating on creative projects with the team.
- Keeping your workspace clean and organizing art materials after each session.

Activities will depend on your skills, interests, ongoing projects, and the needs of the campus. We encourage volunteers to share their own ideas and artistic approaches.

Daily Shifts

Volunteers will generally contribute around 4–5 hours per day, 5 days a week, with the schedule agreed upon in advance.

A typical day may include:

- Morning: Creative work, painting, sketching, or outdoor installations.
- Midday: Break and personal time.
- Afternoon: Continue artistic projects, work on designs, or organize materials.

The exact timings are flexible and may vary depending on weather conditions, project requirements, and the type of artwork being created.

We value a relaxed, collaborative environment where volunteers have time to explore the surroundings, connect with nature, and enjoy their experience in South Goa.

We ask volunteers to be responsible, respectful of the property, and committed to completing the creative projects they agree to undertake.
