VCV was my first volunteer experience with worldpackers, I stayed for 6 weeks, however, I recommend staying a maximum of two months and must say I couldn't have chosen a better one, since the moment I walked in they welcomed me as part of the family, everyone was so friendly and the classes were so nice, I had to the school to adults online and kids, everyone is so interested about learning which makes the experience so good, Miss Hay is so lovely and generous, she is such a great woman being, will miss vcv crew also Vietnam is such a great country to visit as well I highly recommend this place

I had a great time staying and teaching at VCV! Everyone involved is very welcoming, helpful and keen to get to know you and make you feel settled into life in Hanoi. It's a real opportunity to see what life is like in the city, away from the standard tourist experience, which is what I was hoping for. The teaching side of things is enjoyable and it's insightful and fun to talk to local people and learn about their culture firsthand. I'd definitely recommend volunteering at VCV, thanks for having me!

I loved it! Having to experience the Vietnamese lifestyle, attending a couple of weddings, and having to meet so many locals. From this experience, I have learned a lot and I will want to go back to Vietnam in the future. In the beginning, when they first give you a class to the school is hard, and you kind of need to learn how to the school but once you get the hang of it, it is cool, at least for someone like me without real. I also got to see the north country in my free time which is full of breathtaking landscapes and amazing people.

Jon est génial à avoir autour ! Il est super sociable, toujours prêt à donner un coup de main, et rend simplement la journée de tout le monde plus lumineuse. Nous aimons l'avoir dans l'équipe. Il s'est vraiment immergé dans le mode de vie vietnamien, allant même à des mariages et se mêlant aux habitants. On dirait qu'il s'est éclaté et a énormément appris. Enseigner était un peu délicat au début pour lui, mais il a vite pris le coup et l'a trouvé plutôt chouette. Et quand il n'enseignait pas, il partait explorer les paysages magnifiques et rencontrer des gens formidables dans le nord. Nous sommes tellement contents de l'avoir.

I was only at VCV for one month but I had the most incredible experience. Not only did I have the opportunity to the school connect with the students I also met so many amazing other volunteers and formed deep and meaningful connections in a short period of time. Within one day at VCV I already felt included and part of the group :)

An incredible experience. Everyone is really warm and welcoming and you will feel like home only after a couple of days. I loved the fact that VCV organised different events outside of teaching which gave you a chance to get to know students better and explore local culture. You have loads of free time for yourself, exploring city or spending time with other volunteers. I couldn't recommend this enough :)

Nous avons eu le plaisir d'accueillir Emilija en tant que bénévole parmi nous pendant trois mois, et nous ne pourrions être plus reconnaissants pour son dévouement et son travail acharné. Emilija n'est pas seulement très aimable et responsable, mais aussi incroyablement charmante. Bien qu'elle ne soit pas très bavarde, elle dégage une chaleur qui fait que tous ceux qui l'entourent se sentent à l'aise et appréciés. Son attitude amicale et son esprit positif ont vraiment éclairé notre espace de travail. Nous sommes reconnaissants pour ses contributions et lui souhaitons tout le meilleur pour ses futurs projets.

I stayed at VCV for three months and it was amazing. I learned alot about myself through teaching here and I made some amazing friends. Your work hours are up to 3 hours a day so you have lots of free time :)) I got to explore North Vietnam and treat hanoi as my home. The area you stay in is safe and you live in an apartment. Making connections with the local Vietnamese people and my students was also loads of fun. The whole experience was very positive. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone!

Merci beaucoup pour votre aide dévouée au cours des trois derniers mois. Elizabeth a été d'une grande aide; c'est une personne au grand cœur et dont l'âme est belle. Sa patience à aider les enfants dans leur apprentissage est remarquable, et sa douceur et son attitude amicale font d'elle une joie à côtoyer. Nous sommes très heureux de l'avoir eue parmi nous, et nous avons remarqué des changements positifs en elle pendant son séjour ici. Nous avons également apprécié écouter ses idées et ses expériences. Nous espérons sincèrement avoir l'occasion de la rencontrer à nouveau à l'avenir.

This experience is perfect for a month or two! It's a good start for people who want to try out teaching, the students and the staff are really patient. Lesson plans are often provided. The lessons are in the evening, for 1-3 hours a day but usually 1.5 hours per lesson. Both adults and children. The trip to the Da River was one of my best days in Vietnam, so special! And the staff of VCV are great - a special shout-out to Phoenix. She showed us Vietnamese culture and she is a gem of VCV. A wonderful woman. Thank you for the experience.

Teaching the school Vietnam through VCV was an enlightening experience that helped me grow. During my stay, I became more confident and gained new perspectives. I met many students who were eager to learn, and I felt fulfilled knowing that I was making a difference in their lives. Besides teaching, I made good friends through the program. We explored the city together and I felt a sense of community, which was something I missed since moving away from home. I decided to stay for two more months to continue teaching and be part of my students' progress.

Kavin est un bénévole gentil et agréable qui apporte toujours de la joie à son entourage. Ce fut un plaisir d\'accueillir Kavin en tant que bénévole, travaillant avec nous, se concentrant principalement sur le marketing, bien qu\'il ait aussi apporté son aide dans l\'enseignement lorsque nécessaire. Kavin s\'est rapidement adapté à l\'enseignement et a montré une amélioration significative, étant proactif lorsqu\'il recevait des consignes claires pour ses tâches.

I've had the best time at VCV! Ms. Hay and the team are very hospitable and welcoming. The other volunteers were also very friendly, and I've made so many great memories. The location is handy as there are heaps of cafes nearby. You get to meet locals and build connections with students, so you get a good feel for the surrounding the project. The room I shared was quite spacious and the provided meals every day were super delicious. I would highly recommend VCV !!!!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié avoir Sara parmi nous le mois dernier. Sara, bien que discrète dans les grands groupes, est une personne charmante et positive qui brille dans les conversations petites et personnelles. Elle a démontré une responsabilité et un engagement remarquables, accueillant l'enseignement avec enthousiasme. L'ouverture de Sara aux retours a conduit à des améliorations notables dans son enseignement en seulement deux semaines. Nous espérons avoir le plaisir de travailler à nouveau avec elle à l'avenir.
