My stay with Khalid and his family was very nice. I had a lot of free time to relax in their the farm and enjoy nature. The tasks were mostly helping with household chores and some the farm work. The mother is super sweet and caring and the children are very well behaved.

My stay with Khalid has helped me become a better person! As cliché as it is he and his family taught me that sharing is truly caring. Without a doubt I felt welcomed and literally became part of the Amazigh(berber) tribe! Khalid and his cousins oasis in the desert is remote , quiet and gorgeous! My stay with Khalid, his wife, and their 3 beautiful kids (9,6,1) was short but memorable. I had to leave a few days earlier because of work commitments that required strong wi-fi. My tasks involved helping Madam with household chores, such as picking up wood for the fire, and cleaning. I also walked the kids to school. The Zhaid the farm was deactivated so I suggest clarifying the activities beforehand. It was an immersion into Amazihr culture like no other. My daily contact was primarily with the family as Khalid was away for most of the day. the village is a 15 min-walk away.

The family is super lovely and the kids are super well behaved. The work was good and we took breaks when needed! the farm and dessert camp was beautiful and we felt taken of. The meals were fantastic! The only negative is that we felt slightly uncomfortable a few times during the stay. The host was drinking at the dessert camp with friends and on the ride back to the house we felt our personal space was being invaded. He also got a bit aggravated when paying for a taxi even tho we paid our share, we ended up paying more to cover others due to pressure from him. Still an awesome experience!

Que puis-je dire, je ne peux pas payer ton taxi pour que tu sois heureux, je fais de mon mieux pour te montrer la ville de céramique, mais le coût est pour toi, ta sœur et Hakim, je fais le guide pour toi et ta sœur gratuitement, mais tu n'es pas reconnaissant.

A experiência no sítio com Khalid e sua familia foi muito enriquecedora, uma vida simples e de muita riqueza cultural. Recomendo fortemente para quem quiser vivenciar a cultura berber.

Khalid es el anfitrion, la mayoria de los dias de la semana el no se encuentra en el dia hasta la tarde, por lo tanto, si quieres aprender y quieres preguntarle algo esta dificil porque él casi nunca se encuentra o esta ocupado. Por causa de lo escrito anteriormente, la que se queda en la casa es su amable esposa, y ella es la que te indica las tareas que hay que realizar, pero ella NO habla inglés, solo habla bereber y arabe, entonces es dificil comunicarse. Khalid ofrece excursiones mas baratas, pero no te da un precio fijo porque despues te va cobrando otras cosas sin aviso previo.
