J’ai vécu une expérience incroyable de bénévolat chez JJ’s Yard, l’auberge ! J’ai absolument adoré faire partie de la communauté de Lagos pendant plus d’un mois. C’était une expérience vraiment spéciale, pleine de beaux souvenirs, de personnes merveilleuses et de moments inoubliables. Jay est un hôte incroyable qui m’a fait me sentir chez moi dès le premier jour. Je n’aurais pas pu demander une meilleure expérience de bénévolat ! J’ai apprécié chaque instant, et j’ai hâte de revenir l’année prochaine. Merci, JJ’s Yard, de rendre ce chapitre de mon voyage si mémorable ! ❤️

LÉGENDAIRE!! Non seulement le travail était extrêmement raisonnable, j'ai été traité comme un membre de la famille et j'ai rencontré d'autres bénévoles qui seront mes amis pour la vie. Le propriétaire, jay, était extrêmement arrangeant. Il m'a même procuré d'autres opportunités d'emploi réelles au cas où je déciderais de rester ici à Lagos de façon permanente. Dès le troisième jour, je connaissais déjà beaucoup de gens; je ne m'ennuyais jamais. Il suffisait de quitter l'auberge pour rencontrer des amis et trouver des plans. J'adore absolument l'auberge et je reviendrai la saison prochaine pour tout refaire. Merci, jay, pour ce merveilleux moment, j'aimerai toujours Lagos. Venez faire du bénévolat ici si vous aimez passer un bon moment!!!

J'ai passé un moment incroyable à faire du bénévolat chez JJ’s Yard. L'endroit m'a donné l'impression d'être chez moi et au sein d'une grande famille. L'atmosphère était toujours chaleureuse et accueillante. J'ai eu l'occasion de connaître à la fois des habitants et des gens du monde entier, ce qui a rendu l'expérience vraiment spéciale. Le travail était détendu et bien organisé, avec beaucoup de temps libre pour explorer le bel Lagos. Les circuits de pubs étaient tellement amusants ! Un grand merci à Jay, qui était toujours prêt à aider et qui a fait en sorte que tout le monde se sente inclus. J'étais honnêtement triste de partir et j'ai vraiment envie de revenir un jour. Si vous aimez faire la fête et rencontrer de nouvelles personnes, cet endroit est fait pour vous ! 💘

Such a fun time!!!! I really love everyone i got the chance to meet and engage with, from the local community, other volunteers and the travelers in the hostel. The work was pretty relaxed, and definitely a far trade for what we got as volunteers. It was a 10/10, Pub crawls are great fun, the activities we got to do were amazing, and Jay was welcoming, and warm. I would go back and recommend it to anyone who likes to party 🥳

I had the BEST time at the hostel. Truly the best volunteering experience and Lagos is incredible! I was so sad to leave. The tasks are easy and on the first day you work morning shift with some cleaning, you have the afternoon off and then you work evening and do the pub crawl. Second day you work the afternoon and do check ins. Third day is off and then it repeats. Thank you for everything Jay and see you very very very soon!!😍

I had SUCH an amazing time at the hostel! :) From moment one Jay made me feel so welcome, as did the other volunteers. The work was very chill, lots of free time to enjoy Lagos and the Algarve. The hours are very consistent: day 1 morning shift + pubcrawl, day 2 afternoon reception shift, day 3 off, and then back to day 1. You can ask Jay any question you have. I loved having him as my host. This place and all the people have really grown on me and I was truly sad to leave. I would have extended if I didn't already have other plans. No goodbyes Jay, see you later!! <3

I had a great experience volunteering at JJ's the hostel! Jay was super welcoming and friendly from the beginning. The work was pretty chill and we had enough free time to explore Lagos! Would definitely recommend volunteering here! :)
