Je suis arrivé un peu en retard en raison des retards de vol et Talab a été super sympa et compréhensif, la charge de travail n'était pas exigente et ils avaient une équipe incroyablement aimable, en particulier le cuisinier qui préparait des repas délicieux sur demande tous les jours. Je recommanderais à 100%

J'ai passé un si bon moment à faire du bénévolat dans l'auberge ! Talab était vraiment agréable à côtoyer, respectueux, et m'a fait me sentir chez moi dès le début. J'ai surtout aidé avec les réseaux sociaux, donc le travail était assez détendu et flexible, ce qui signifiait que j'avais encore beaucoup de temps pour profiter de l'endroit et simplement prendre les choses avec calme. Je me suis retrouvé là pendant la basse saison, donc c'était bien plus calme que d'habitude, mais j'ai en fait vraiment aimé ça. Cela a rendu l'ensemble de l'expérience calme, facile à vivre et beaucoup plus personnelle. Vraiment reconnaissant pour l'expérience et pour la manière dont je me suis senti bienvenu. Merci, Talab!

Nous avons passé un super moment à faire du bénévolat à l’auberge. Talab était un hôte si drôle et respectueux — il s’est assuré que nous nous sentions à l’aise et bienvenus depuis le début. Nos tâches étaient simples et très flexibles, puisque nous aidions principalement avec les réseaux sociaux, ce qui nous a laissé beaucoup de temps pour profiter de l’endroit. Nous sommes allés pendant la basse saison, donc il n’y avait pas beaucoup de visiteurs et pas grand-chose ne se passe, mais cela a en fait rendu l’expérience très détendue pour nous. Merci de nous avoir accueillis, Talab!

I'm so happy that I stayed at the hostel. It is a well-known hostel in Jaisalmer. The location is great, right next to the fort. 10 minutes from the train station as well. Talab was a great host and has a very inspiring story. The reception work was easy and I was happy to help with some troubleshooting too. Talab took me on some tours in his car and bike around the city which was really fun. He also made sure that I met other international travelers. My only critique is that I was very excited to take care of camels (based on the title of the exchange) and that isn't a job actually offered.

I had a great experience volunteering at the hostel! Taleb was a good host who always looked out for me, and all of the staff at the hostel were good people and nice friends. The hotel has an amazing big rooftop with the best view of the fort and is in a great location for exploring the city. I was given a good private room for my stay and provided with meals. Taleb also drove me around the city, and to cool places like the lake and the haunted village. and at the end of my stay they kindly dropped me to the bus stand and made sure i was safely on my way!

Talab is a great host, with an great history! He made us feel confortable since the first moment. We helped him producing photos and videos about the hotel and the desert the hostel, and dealing with his social media. Our schedule was very flexible, since it was important for us to visit the highlights of the city. We even got a chance to go to the desert the hostel! It was amazing! Thank you, Talab!

I spent such a good time in the hostel, I felt treated as a family member. They received me very kind and offer me a room for myself. The job was pretty easy, helping in reception, some post and videos for social media and for sure sharing with the guest. Jaisalmer in general is such a nice place to visit and have a different experience of India. I really appreciate the time in the hostel specially with Talab and hiral, they are good persons 🫶

My experience was interesting. I enjoyed the stay and the people were incredibly friendly. Everyone constantly made sure that I was comfortable and taken care of. One thing I struggled with a lot was the lack of communication of expectations or tasks. Sometimes I found myself sitting at the desk feeling completely lost, because I wasn't really explained what was expected of me. Overall it was an amazing stay and I would recommend it, but maybe for someone who already has some experience with running a business, so they can make suggestions and take action accordingly
