Quelle excellente expérience avec WP. Paipa et Tuta sont deux villes très accueillantes et j'ai trouvé plein de façons intéressantes de passer mon temps libre. Les étudiants étaient enthousiastes d'apprendre et d'avoir des locuteurs natifs. Ils sont généralement des cours de 1 à 3 étudiants, généralement âgés de plus de 11 ans. Et l'hôtesse Emilia est tout simplement au top. C'était vraiment génial.

Toute mon expérience a été super bonne. Émilia est une femme très aimable et elle rit et sourit tout le temps. Sa maison est à Tuta, un petit village qui se trouve à environ trente minutes de Paipa. Sa maison était très confortable et propre, et elle a aussi une chatte très mignonne. Elle m'a donné cinquante pesos pour le bus aller-retour jusqu'à Paipa — cela prenait environ trente minutes et il passait très fréquemment. Paipa est très calme et il n'y a pas d'autres étrangers, et il n'y a certainement pas de singes comme moi. Mais ce n'était pas une mauvaise chose — tout le monde était accueillant. Les autres professeurs sont aussi très géniaux et les étudiants voulaient apprendre sérieusement.

Mon expérience à l'école était incroyable! Les instructeurs et les étudiants étaient accueillants, motivés et aimables! Mon hôte, Emilia, était incroyable. Elle m'a invité à des restaurants, des cafés, et j'ai même rencontré certains de ses proches, ce qui m'a permis de m'immerger dans la culture de deux magnifiques villes rurales de Colombie: Paipa et Tuta. Paipa et Tuta sont deux villes paisibles et pittoresques. Bien que j'aie fait du bénévolat pendant une courte période, je suis tellement reconnaissant pour les souvenirs et les amis que j'ai faits pendant mon séjour!!

Séjourner chez Emilia et travailler à l’école a été une expérience incroyable. Paipa est une petite ville calme, ce n’est pas l’endroit idéal pour faire la fête, mais si vous cherchez un endroit pour vous détendre dans la nature et contribuer à un projet significatif, c’est le bon choix ! Travailler avec les étudiants du centre a été une excellente expérience pour moi.

Enseigner aux étudiants de l'école à Paipa a été une expérience particulièrement enrichissante. Les autres enseignants étaient accueillants et l'hôte, Emilia, était toujours pleine de joie et de gentillesse. Je reviendrais sans hésiter 🙂

Emilia is a super enthusiastic, kind and helping person, but she also gives you a lot of freedom, responsibility and trust. I didn't only feel well treated but respected too. You will be living on the countryside between the cows and the trees. It is a really beautiful and peaceful place. There is a village not far away and maybe Emilia could even help you to get access to a bike.

Spent a month with Emilia at the school and the time flew by! I stayed in her home in Tuta, and we drove to Paipa most days (or took the bus) to teach lessons, rotating between morning and afternoon classes. I also got to volunteer at a private school on Tuesdays which was super fun. Emilia was a wonderful host that showed me the best of Boyoaca and more. Gracias su merce!

Emilia was the perfect host and what she created with the school is wonderful. Her energy and work ethic are admirable and she is a breath of fresh air. The students are amazing! Tuta, where the house is located is a very peaceful and lovely place to get in touch with nature (and the neighbouring cows as well as the cute neighbour dogs!) and Paipa where the language centre is, has a bit of everything and is very well connected to other cities and places to explore. Make sure you spend some time visiting the thermal pools and walk around the local lake also. Emilia, thank you for everything!

Emilia is probably one of the most wholesome and pure people I've met so far! Very understanding, adaptive and willing to include you in activities or change plans to give travellers the room to visit other places and see more of Colombia! Tuta(York), the village we we're staying at wasn't the most active so like others have said, don't chose this if you're in it for the night life but for someone who wants to have a calm stay and just enjoy nature and the moment I wholeheartedly recommend! Loved it!

Mi experiencia en the school fue increíble. Emilia es un increíble anfitrión súper amable y siempre con buena energía! Me sentí siempre bienvenido y como en casa. Paipa es un lugar súper lindo y con una naturaleza súper hermosa.
