Considérez-vous heureux si vous vous trouvez un jour dans cette ferme. Il y a quelque chose de très méditatif dans l'endroit et dans le processus. Si vous êtes dans la haute saison, vous apprendrez pas mal sur le processus cacao à chocolat. Lorsque vous ne travaillez pas, vous trouverez des conversations et de la chaleur de Mayoor, l'hôte, Mukunth, le coordinateur bénévole, les charmantes dames qui travaillent là-bas, les animaux domestiques amicaux et les autres bénévoles. Vos préoccupations et suggestions concernant les tâches sont prises en compte par Mukunth et mises en œuvre lorsque c'est possible. J'ai trouvé mon chez-moi loin de chez moi :)

Cette semaine était ma deuxième expérience à la ferme. Ce mois-ci, des cabosses de cacao arrivent à la ferme pour le traitement; je veux expérimenter toute l'activité. Je suis vraiment content que Mukunath et Mayoor aient été très utiles et aient expliqué tout le processus. J'ai passé du temps avec mes animaux de compagnie préférés, Robin et Munshi, ainsi qu'une vache et son veau. J'ai aussi rencontré là-bas Eyal, Paule, Gigi, Dimitri et Melica. C'était vraiment une belle expérience avec tous les volontaires à Gazibo. Cette saison est un peu plus chaude et humide, ce qui entraîne quelques difficultés en raison de la chaleur. Mais dans l'ensemble, l'expérience était incroyable.

What a great experience being on the farm! While my trip was cut shorter than expected, Mayoor was very accommodating, willing to teach, freely shared about his life and work experiences, and and brought a unique insight of daily life of southern India. Learning about how chocolate is made, getting our hands dirty, seeing it all happen before our eyes was a real treat. It can be hard and tedious at times, but I gained a deeper appreciation of this magical substance. The other volunteers were great, had fun trips into town for ice cream and other local favorites.

Mayoor is more than a host a teacher never seen a person with such integrity He let me go with my dog and made me and my dog stay comfortably Farm life is hard but it was so much fun working and learning about cacao, fermentation of beer and living a healthy farm life.

I had a fantastic two weeks volunteering at the farm. Mayoor is a lovely relaxed guy who cultivates a social atmosphere and there seems to always be a couple of volunteers knocking around. He organised trips to other local the farm or to meet local people and was always open to us trying out some cooking in the kitchen (there was delightful home-cooked food provided anyway). It is, however, a working farm so it's always an early start and there can be some hard manual jobs to be done plus the accommodation is suitably rustic with some damp and mosquitoes. Thank you Mayoor!

The farm is a great place if you want to make friends with new people and it lets us know the culture of many people .host Mayoor is really amazing i enjoyed the discussions we often had during our breaks and he also helps us by guiding us abouts and arounds of the place I would totally recommend someone to visit this place if they are also ok with a little bit of physical tasks ! 💯
