La ferme et son équipe dévouée sont vraiment des personnes travaillant dur qui s'occupent des chevaux jour et nuit. Les principales tâches des bénévoles incluent le nettoyage des fermes stables, le réapprovisionnement des seaux d'eau et l'alimentation des chevaux. Notez bien que c'est un travail difficile, mais vous serez récompensé par une nourriture locale copieuse et un quartier paisible. J'ai aussi reçu 1-2 leçons d'équitation par semaine lorsque le personnel est libre des tâches et les cours d'équitation pour les habitants locaux. Cela dit, si votre objectif principal est de rencontrer d'autres bénévoles ou d'avoir des cours d'équitation tous les jours, ce n'est pas quelque chose pour lequel vous devriez vous inscrire. Grâce à cette expérience, vous avez pu goûter à beaucoup de plats coréens locaux et être entouré par la langue coréenne. La charge de travail est telle que l'on peut s'y attendre, allant du remplissage des bouteilles d'eau au nettoyage des excréments. Avec une belle zone de randonnée offrant de nombreuses vues magnifiques, la nature ici est vraiment impressionnante. Cependant, si vous ne parlez pas coréen et qu'il n'y a pas d'autres bénévoles, l'expérience peut être assez solitaire. Si vous aimez être souvent seul et que vous souhaitez améliorer votre coréen, c'est le bon endroit où aller.

This is a great experience for nature and animal lovers! I got the chance to ride and loved hanging out with the dogs every day. Jin Kyung is a soft-hearted person who clearly cares a lot about her animals and her volunteers. She always made sure I had everything I needed. The work was exactly as is described on the profile. I had basically no prior experience with this kind of work but the staff were happy to show me everything I needed to know!

I'm not going to lie it is very hard work, you have to love animals and it's mostly caring for them, not riding them. I got to help during school classes with the horses which was awesome and developed a very intimate relationship with the team. I learned a lot about Korean culture and cuisine. But this is not an experience if you are in Korea for sightseeing this is an experience to help animals and people and to really get to know the culture. If you're looking for a free ride, this is not the place.

I had an amazing time at the farm riding school. The team needs some time to warm up to you but then you have a new family! Everyone was so sweet and helpful, they really want to best for you. You have to be prepared to work hard, there is a lot to do and to learn! Besides working hard you have alot in return: amazing food, a lot of fun with everyone and a really local feeling. All in all a place that I will never forget ❤️

My one and only advice: go there! Jinkyung and her team are so so so welcoming and adorable and you really become part of the family if you stay for a while~ traditional food everyday for lunch and dinner, going to play 8-ball, 노래방 and many other things <3 even though the work is physically hard it is also very rewarding and you get to know many people here, showing you different perspectives and experiences!! Truly a wonderful place if you are willing to work hard ^^ the fruits of your labor are more than you could imagine~ If that didn't convince you : we have dogs and a cat hehe :D

Where to start... I started working mornings and afternoons and after a few days I was tired, we had no free time for sightseeing or going to the city, after deciding to take 2-3 afternoon off Jinkyung's attitude towards me changed. At first, he seemed to care about me, but then changed, more than once she spoke to me without respect and never “please” or “thank you”. Also, there was a tense atmosphere with the Korean group and volunteers. i could write many more things… so I don't recommend this place. they need to change a lot of things to make it a pleasant place to go.

I was very excited to work with horses and help the locals. However, the tasks we had agreed upon didn't match what I actually had to do. The Korean team kept expecting the volunteers to do more and more, and even when I did, they made me feel like it was never enough. After a while, I thought I would become part of the team, but instead, the Korean team ignored me and even talked behind my back. As a result, I didn't feel comfortable at all and became emotionally and physically exhausted. It could be such a nice place but the korean team just isn't willing to put in the effort.

When I first applied to the farm, one of the reasons were because of the comments left by other volunteers. They were what drew me in and made me apply. When I arrived it was sadly not like this anymore. So if you also want to go on account of the older comments, just keep that in mind. The workers are all very nice, but will need time to open up to you. The work load is hard, but manageable if you are more people. It was fun to try new and delicious foods. The only thing I wish I had done was take more days off, to go explore, because you will use most of your time on the farm

This experience was by far the most unpleasant from all my previous ones. The horses are lovely and you get to try local cuisine. It was not the hard work as much as the lack of respect and appreciation. The environment was not friendly or welcoming, and there was a lot of tension within the Korean team. It is important to note that the account is managed for the host, which naturally leads to misunderstandings. There was false advertising of the position, as per riding and the working hours. I would recommend the host to review the concept of volunteering and get a better understanding of it

Chère Sophie, merci pour votre avis. Nous sommes désolés que l'expérience ait été désagréable pour vous. Nous avons fait tout notre possible pour vous accueillir et répondre à vos besoins. Tout le monde a un style de communication différent, il est donc normal que l'équipe ait besoin de temps pour s'adapter aux nouveaux bénévoles. Nous avons eu des problèmes de personnel qui sont maintenant résolus; néanmoins, nous nous excusons que cela ait affecté votre séjour. Comme pour tous ceux qui viennent, nous demandons si les bénévoles acceptent de travailler des journées complètes et nous n'imposons jamais de journées de travail complètes à nos bénévoles. En ce qui concerne vos jours de repos et vos demi-journées, l'équipe vous a vraiment incitée à parler à Jinkyung, mais vous avez continué à procrastiner. Concernant l'équitation, vous avez dit des choses différentes à chacun. Parfois, vous avez dit que vous vouliez le faire, mais d'autres fois vous avez dit que vous n'aviez aucun intérêt à monter ici. C'est pourquoi nos autres bénévoles n'ont pas pris l'initiative d'organiser des leçons d'équitation pour vous. Nous vous souhaitons tout le meilleur pour vos voyages, Team JK.
