I've wanted to visitthethethe the homesince I was a child and am grateful that I got to make many wonderful memories there. Amanda, Ian, and Richard are very welcoming, adaptive, and communicative, and the kids are great. I learned a lot during my time there. Ian is the project coordinator and who I worked with the most, and he was always open and eager to teach me new things and how all the sustainability projects worked together. My humor matched really well with everyone so I was always laughing. Dinner was always delicious and nutritious. Have a lot more great things to say that won't fit here.

My experience was great. Amanda and her family are great people, they are very kind and interesting, they will always be aware of your well-being and make you feel comfortable at home. Amanda is always willing to teach you English in a dynamic and fun way. Benjamin is incredible, he is the star of the house, he is very intelligent and you will practice a lot of English with him. The food is delicious and with them you will be able to visit new places. Me encantó la experiencia!!! Toda la familia es súper amable y respetuosa, se preocupan constantemente por ti y tus necesidades. Tienen la disposición de compartir siempre. La mejor parte de voluntariado fue Benjamin. Es un niño increíble, muy inteligente, adorable y enérgico. Con él pude practicar inglés la mayor parte del tiempo y se convirtió en un buen amigo. Realmente pasamos una gran estadía. La habitación es súper grande y cómoda. La comida es muy buena. Recomendado.

They are a wonderful family. They are super flexible with the timetable,and they have a project where you have to help, but don't worry because they will teach you everything you need to know. They help you a lot with your English,and if you say something wrong they correct you. The little boy is fantastic,spending time with him is the best! They also invite you to play board games with them,I even went swimming with them and many other things that make you feel at home! There is a lot of food and they also make typical food for you to taste. An experience I will always keep in my heart!

Meu propósito era ter uma imersão cultural e aprimorar meu inglês. Nesse sentido minha experiência com a família merece 100 estrelas. Amanda é Richard foram muito atenciosos, passamos muito tempo conversando, jogando, treinando inglês e contando piadas. Estive doente por alguns dias e a família me ajudou em tudo que precisei. Sou muito grato por isso! O trabalho pode ser muito pesado mas você não se sente monitorado e tem flexibilidade para fazer pausas e escolher horários. O projeto tem defeitos, mas para mim eles se tornam pequenos diante do esforço da Amanda em me deixar confortável. ❤️

Experiência sensacional! De todos os voluntariados que já fiz, esse com certeza, é um dos que mais recomendo se você quer viver uma experiência real do que é estar em família no Reino Unido e principalmente, aprender inglês! Todos são incríveis do seu jeitinho e com personalidades diferentes. A Amanda recebe cada um como um filho muito amado, senti muito carinho e fiquei feliz demais em poder contribuir e aprender com o projeto. O meu quarto era muito confortável, as comidas uma maravilha e o tempo com a família foi inesquecível! E como mulher viajante sola me senti 100% confortável!

The family were very patient and helped a lot with my English. They always asked if I needed anything. I really enjoyed the board games and English practices after dinner, The location is great if like love greens and spending time outdoors. The family helps as much as possible so that you get to know the surroundings and other places you would like to go to. you should have a little patience with the cleanliness and order of the house. On the work side, there is a lot to do jobs, but the family will find the best job that suits your abilities and they will do everything to make you feel safe.

I was lucky to have the opportunity to try homestay for the first time and for a short time as the family mainly just need some extra help setting up BBQ equipment and moving things around. Depends on when and what you applied for, the tasks you'll be doing will vary a lot. It was a great experience for culture exchange and the family is nice and understanding.
