Une gratification était promise et n'a pas été versée dans sa totalité, avec mon binôme nous avons payé pour une case accidentelle principalement du à une non connaissance du matériel. Soyez au courant que pour cette mission, vous faites le chiffres d'affaires de quelqu'un d'autres sans être payés. Vous travaillez gratuitement pour quelqu'un avec des horaires en hautes saison qui dépasserons le cadre de 20h/semaine. Sinon le cadre est très joli et naturel, vous avez le temps de rencontrer des gens et de profiter du paysages.

Dan et Galina nous ont vraiment fait sentir chez nous dès le départ. Dan nous a encouragés à essayer de nouvelles choses comme faire du pain maison et des projets de bricolage, ce qui m'a sorti de ma zone de confort et a été gratifiant d'apprendre de nouvelles compétences. Le travail qui nous était demandé était clairement expliqué à travers un document détaillé, et Dan est resté en contact avec nous quotidiennement via WhatsApp, ce qui rendait toujours facile de le joindre en toutes circonstances. L'ambiance à Taney était incroyable. Pendant notre temps libre, en dehors du travail, nous avons pu faire de nombreuses randonnées autour de la montagne. Ce fut une expérience merveilleuse rendue possible par des hôtes très fiables et généreux.

Dan et Galina furent des hôtes merveilleux—gentils, accueillants et toujours prêts à enseigner et à expliquer les tâches. Le lodge Baabuk est un endroit spécial, accueillant des invités charmants qui aiment la nature, les montagnes et les lacs. J'ai beaucoup appris sur l'hospitalité, la cuisine et la nature. Les tâches et l'équipement sont clairement expliqués dans un document organisé, ce qui facilite le travail de manière indépendante. Pendant la haute saison estivale très occupée, il y a beaucoup de travail, et les heures de travail peuvent dépasser l'horaire prévu, donc l'indépendance, la responsabilité et la maturité sont importantes. Je suis très reconnaissant envers Dan et Galina !

A little piece of magic in the Alps Spending time as a volunteer at Petit the lodge Baabuk has been a truly special experience. From the very beginning, Dan and Galina welcomed us with open arms, creating a warm, relaxed and inspiring atmosphere that made us feel at home. Lac de Taney is a dreamlike place, surrounded by mountains, nature and silence, it's the perfect place to reconnect and slow down. This experience allowed me to learn, grow, and gain new perspectives. Thank you, Dan and Galina, for everything. I'll carry this little piece of Taney with me wherever I go.

I would definitely repeat the experience without any doubt. It's an ideal place to disconnect, and I've learned to do many manual tasks. The place is paradise, and there are plenty of options if you enjoy the mountains. The hosts welcomed us with open arms and provided all kinds of support. As for the tasks, yes, there are quite a few things to do, but for me personally, the stay went by quickly. Taney has felt like home during these three weeks!

This was my second time volunteering at the lodge Baabuk. During my first stay, we have done a lot of DIY projects, while the second time was more focused on managing the daily operations of the house. This included preparing the rooms, cleaning various spaces, baking, and making breakfast and dinner. Whenever I had some free time, I enjoyed going for walks, Taney is a beautiful place or swimming in the lake. the lodge is truly a special place, and I hope future volunteers will find as much joy in taking care of it as I did. Thank you Dan and Galina for your trust.

My stay at the Baabuk hostel was another month full of great experiences. Here, Dan shares with us a unique setting in the Swiss Alps with the confidence and autonomy that helped me grow. I was able to develop my social and communication skills, as well as some DIY skills (if you like DIY, go for it!). You'll be helping to develop and grow a wonderful little inn and create some incredible memories. Dan and Galina are two very welcoming and friendly hosts who will make you feel at home.
