Une expérience merveilleuse. Les habitants sont très amicaux et accueillants, et beaucoup d'entre eux partagent une conscience sociale si admirable. Soumaya est une personne délicieuse, une vraie battante, et elle m'a guidé à travers le lieu, l'histoire, la culture et les autochtones. Ceci est le projet un projet qui vraiment mérite d'être développé, et j'invite tous les WorldPackers à le soutenir avec leurs compétences !

Un immense merci à Alessio, notre incroyable bénévole d’Italie, pour son dévouement et sa passion dans l’enseignement de l’italien ici à Chenini, Gabès ! Son enthousiasme, sa patience et sa chaleur ont apporté tellement d’énergie et de joie dans notre communauté. Merci mille fois, Alessio!

J'ai adoré mon temps passé avec Soumaya et sa famille. Si vous entrez avec zéro attente et un esprit ouvert, vous passerez un moment merveilleux. J'ai pu donner des cours d'anglais, rencontrer des habitants et explorer les zones près de Gabès. Merci pour tout!

My two weeks in Gabes were unlike anything I've ever experienced — in volunteering or in life. Soumaya took great care to understand my needs and goals, making my stay adventurous, educational, and more rewarding than I could have imagined. She introduced me to so many inspiring and talented people that Gabes the project full of, and I can't wait to return (Cinéma Fen 2026!). I've made incredible friends — many of whom have supported and guided me with generosity and care as I continue exploring beautiful Tunisia.

Aksel est une personne incroyable.
Il est très actif et prêt à essayer quelque chose de nouveau. Il est sociable et facile à vivre. Il a eu un énorme impact sur notre communauté en participant à différentes activités culturelles et en réalisant de nombreuses vidéos promotionnelles sur l'oasis, les artisans et l'environnement.

Coco est l'une des personnes les plus incroyables que nous ayons rencontrées.
Elle est venue ici deux fois et a eu un impact énorme. C'est une photographe très talentueuse, intelligente et sociable. Elle est douée pour résoudre les problèmes et planifier des événements.
Tout le monde l'adore ici et me demande encore des nouvelles d'elle. Elle a partagé la communauté avec de nombreuses activités "remue-méninges, animations de discussions autour d'un café, événements culturels...etc)"
Nous avons hâte de la revoir bientôt

The most amazing experience of my life. Was meant to stay a week ended up staying three and could have been even longer. Soumaya and her family are the most generous and fun people as the project all the other people I met in the community. I felt settled in by the first day and got stuck in with so many different opportunities; meeting interesting people, learning about the culture, creating content and getting imagery, doing talks at school ect ect. The program the project super relaxed which works perfectly if your the type of person to be up for everything and you can also cater your experience :)c ya soon

Lots of opportunities for volunteers to take part in— art, languages, journalism, instructing… with the host Soumaya with her broad interest and connections, you'll have the most fun discovering your true self!

The experience was absolutely great! Soumaya introduced me to the local community, and I had the opprotunity to discover a lot about the local products, the habits, the social events, the association, the people and so on. Tunisian people are very welcoming, open and helpful . I have never felt in danger or in unpleasant situation. She really cares about volunteers and she does her best for you to spend a good time there. I was generally with her during my stay and when she wasn't with me she always ensured that I was with someone very trustful. This experience was a great life lesson.

After a week collaborating with the project, I can only say that I wish it had been longer. Soumaya the project an amazing host and a truly inspiring person. Not only does she irradiate passion for the mission of the association but she also truly cares about the well-being and overall experience of the volunteers. the project will teach about the importance of making an impact on your community and following your dreams. Moreover, Tunisian people are incredibly welcoming and full of energy. A 100% recommended experience!

People in Tunisia are wonderful They are so friendly and joyful it the project almost unbelievable. I helped local people to practice and learn english And also teach a little bit about astronomy to my hoat and her family Soumaya the project a wonderful and very intelligent woman. I hope to go back to meet her and her family in the future

Tu es un gars très intelligent et très drôle. Tu apportes de la joie à tout le monde. Tu as encouragé les enfants à être plus curieux et à poser plus de questions. Nous avons apprécié ta compagnie. Tu as même aidé un entrepreneur ici à promouvoir son nouveau produit à la télévision nationale.

As a first experience I am more than satisfied with this volunteering, soumaya was very welcoming as well as her family and always present for the volunteers, the atmosphere was very pleasant and I recommend this host to anyone who wants to see the local community and learn more about the south of Tunisia.
