Je n'ai passé que deux semaines avec Glyn et Dan, mais ce sont des hôtes adorables. Très engagés et bavards, j'ai passé un super moment avec eux. Nous avons principalement fait un peu de jardinage, ce qui a été efficace. Ils m'ont emmené sortir le week-end ou pendant mes derniers jours et je me suis beaucoup amusé avec eux. Pancho est un chien si adorable et mon séjour a été encore plus enrichi. Je reviendrais toujours vers eux !

Dès le tout premier instant, leur maison ressemblait à un deuxième foyer, ce qui rendait le départ incroyablement difficile.
Glyn et Danny sont un couple drôle et artistique, avec un esprit ouvert façonné par de nombreuses expériences de vie, et il y a tant à apprendre d'eux. Pancho (il peut sembler être un chien, mais c'est en réalité un petit humain) va vous voler le cœur, et vous n'aurez d'autre choix que de revenir à Teignmouth pour les revoir.
Les tâches étaient faciles et gérables, et Glyn était très flexible avec les horaires et les changements.
Peindre la chambre était agréable et enrichissante.

Ce fut un réel plaisir de t'accueillir, Laura. Ce qui est merveilleux avec Worldpackers, ce sont les amis que nous faisons en chemin. Je suis très heureux que nous ayons été au début de ton parcours Worldpacker. Pancho te demande aussi quand tu seras de retour, hahaha!

This was my first time volunteering and I had a lovely experience! Both Glyn and Danny were very welcoming and made sure I felt at home :) The tasks were pretty simple, I mostly just helped around the house and did whatever little tasks needed to be done at the moment. Teignmouth is a lovely city and there's some really nice places to explore, Glyn gave me good tips on where to go on my free time! And of course can't forget Pancho, what a unique little dog, miss him already! Thank you for a great two weeks!

This was my second time travelling through Worldpackers and the first staying at someone's home, which may seem it intimidating, but it wasn't at all. Glyn and Dan are very welcoming and comfortable sharing their space with other people. Tasks were simple and manageable, and Teignmouth is beautiful and close to other small towns that are worth a visit. Overall, a really good experience. Thank you!

I'm very grateful for my stay with Glyn, Dan & Pancho. They were very generous and caring hosts who really made an effort to accomodate for me. I enjoyed the work I was helping them with & they were very grateful for my contribution which was nicely rewarding. I came to them when I was feeling a bit homesick in my travels & they were very conscious of my feelings & gave me space but also support when I needed it. They were also great at actively suggesting things I could do to fill my time, explore the local areas & meet new people if I so wished. Their profile description is very accurate.

Nous avons été très heureux de vous accueillir et, même si vous avez parfois eu le mal du pays, je suis heureux que nous ayons pu vous offrir le bon espace et le soutien. Il est naturel d’avoir ces sentiments parfois, surtout pendant les premières années loin de ceux que nous aimons. Vous avez été une invitée parfaite, et exactement ce dont nous avions besoin à l’époque ! It was an absolute pleasure staying with Glyn and Danny! Both were incredibly welcoming to their home, and were keen to help me explore Teignmouth and the surrounding areas! Teignmouth which seems small at first, offers lots to explore, with gorgeous art galleries, and lively pubs! And as the weather warms up, lots of beach to walk by and if you don't mind a chilly dip to swim in! The work is fair, and whilst occasional hard, if you are willing to put in the effort, Glyn and Danny make sure that in return you are well looked after, and have some really memorable days off!!

This was an amazing opportunity!! First off, Glyn & Dan were beyond fantastic!! Very loving and welcoming! As soon as I met them I knew I was going to love them! Second off!! The king of the house Pancho was the best! Once he warms up to you, he'll always want to be around you! He loves playing and being chased! He is the most handsome king in all of the land! The work was very easy and straightforward. I typically started work in the late morning and ended in early afternoon. Then you have the rest of the day! The beach is only about fifteen minutes walk. And tons of pubs! Highly recommend!

Merci pour tes mots gentils, Michael. Nous avons vraiment adoré t\'avoir parmi nous, toutes les conversations et les rires que nous avons partagés ! Nous avons été très heureux de pouvoir satisfaire tes préférences de démarrage tardif le matin. Et nous avons admiré la façon dont tu t\'es lancé dans la vie locale avec du yoga sur la plage, de la danse en ligne et des clubs de fabrication de dragons ! Au fait, tu as emporté le soleil avec toi, alors reviens bientôt ! Profite du Vietnam et sache que tu as une place dans nos cœurs. Grosses bises et câlins de Pancho!

It was my first volunteering and I'm sure that it was the best experience. You were kind and patients to me from the first day to the last. Always I will be grateful with you. Dan thank you for teach me to play the guitar. Glyn thanks for the good meals and for the english lessons. Pancho became a good friend to me, thanks Pancho for dance with me the last day. 😂. I definitely enjoyed my stay with you. Glyn, Dan, Pancho, Teignmouth and the sea will be in my heart forever. By the way, I miss you and I miss saturdays when we went to visit new places. 💖 I hope to see you soon. 🤗

My experience during the voluntary work was very rewarding, Glyn and Dan are very kind people who are always looking out for you and help you in any situation, the jobs are very rewarding, from general cleaning of the house, painting, varnishing, to taking care of the little dog Pancho who is very naughty and funny, Teignmouth is a small, quiet and pretty town with a lot of history, a perfect place to immerse yourself in nature and the daily life of an English family.

I spent a month with Glyn, Danny and Pancho and I couldn't have asked for anything better as my first world packers experience. Glyn and Danny were so inviting and instantly made me feel welcomed and they loved to show me the best that Devon had to offer. The work tasks required were completely reasonable and they were always checking in with me to make sure I felt comfortable with whatever they asked for me to help with :))
