Nous avons tout réglé et c'était tout. En tant que volontaire, j'ai essayé de travailler et d'être utile. Tout était génial. Je le recommande. Tout était super. 👍👍👍 J'ai travaillé dans le jardin et j'ai refait le plancher du grenier.

Ma première expérience de bénévolat en Angleterre, et j'ai passé presque un mois avec Jac. Elle a été patiente avec mon anglais et a cuisiné tous les repas, en proposant quelque chose de nouveau à chaque fois. Les tâches étaient simples et bien expliquées. J'ai aussi eu de l'intimité et du temps pour explorer la ville. L'emplacement est bien situé, il y a des supermarchés à proximité et des arrêts de bus. J'ai eu de la compagnie et de bonnes conversations, et je le recommande à toute personne, quel que soit son âge, qui veut apprendre et passer un moment détendu.

Eh bien, en général j’ai aimé ça, elle est une bonne personne, je pense que les tâches ne sont pas lourdes, vous aurez le temps d’explorer Bolton et ses environs, elle aime parler d’une variété de sujets, si vous avez la chance d’y aller, foncez, ouvrez l’esprit ! En tant que premier volontaire, je ne savais pas vraiment à quoi m'attendre. Néanmoins, mon expérience du séjour a été excellente et m'a définitivement encouragé à essayer le bénévolat une autre fois à l'avenir.
Tout était exactement comme convenu (heures de travail, nourriture, chambre privée, etc.). Le séjour a également répondu à mes attentes en termes d'apprentissage de l'anglais - j'ai certainement appris de nouveaux mots et renforcé mes connaissances précédentes. Jacquiline a vraiment fait de son mieux pour m'apprendre quelque chose pendant le séjour.
Dans l'ensemble, ce fut une expérience agréable et précieuse pour moi et je voudrais remercier Jacquiline pour cela.

I loved the cozy bedroom! Jackie is a kind person and an innovative cook. She is always trying out new recipes and sometimes asks for help in the kitchen. The main meal is in the evening, and the additional fee is a reasonable estimate for your personal expenses. She lent me an English grammar book. She enjoys talking (a lot) and watching TV shows, which is a great way to practice and improve your LISTENING. Jackie sometimes asks if you'd like to change activities. Sometimes I was alone in the house, and other times she worked with me. There are many things to do around the house!

I had an amazing stay! Jacky is a very kind and welcoming person, always smiling and caring. Besides being a great cook, she took the time to give me English lessons, which helped me a lot. Our conversations were enriching, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. I highly recommend her! Thanks again for everything

I was 15 days working with Jaqueline. She lives in Bolton that it's close to Manchester, almost 1 hour and half by bus for 4£. I get my own room and we share the bathroom and toilet. I really appreciate the opportunity that she gave me, we change the carpet for laminate floor. She is respectful, kind, always ask you if you need to rest or if you are agree to do it. She is good cook and very creative with the meals, it was really nice the meals. She help me to improve my listening and borrow me some grammar books. Great time, thank you for everything Jaqueline

I spent 2 weeks in Bolton, at Jacqueline's house. She's a great person, and her home absolutely cute. You can easily reach the city centre, parks, gyms, markets and the bigger city of Manchester too. I had my own room, which was beautiful, and I appreciated the time spent both in the house and outside. Jacqueline needs some help with housework, but nothing is difficult, and she's always there to help you. She is an interesting person, also because she travelled a lot and she really wants you to enjoy your time. She's a fantastic cooker, and she helped me with my English. Thank you Jacqueline!

I arrived with a very low level of English and I feel that I have improved. Jackeline is a great cook, I liked everything she prepared, the work is easy and the place Bolton is very quiet. If you are looking for peace and quiet and to learn more about the local culture while practising English, I highly recommend this volunteer placement.

Ederson a apprécié son expérience de bénévolat, m’a aidé à enlever le papier peint à l’étage, il a poncé les menuiseries et je lui ai appris comment appliquer du papier peint au plafond. Ederson a été assidu dans l’étude de la grammaire et du vocabulaire anglais afin d’améliorer son niveau d’anglais.
Je lui souhaite tout le meilleur pour ses projets futurs.

My experience with Jacqui was excellent, she is very patient and communicative and this is great for practicing English, and she lent me some books to improve my English, and she makes great food, the tasks are very calm, the house is comfortable and just a few minutes from the city center, which is really cool. Éric était un très bon bénévole et désireux d'améliorer son niveau d'anglais; toutefois, j'ai été un peu déçu lorsqu'il est parti subitement pour accepter une autre opportunité de bénévolat. Je lui souhaite bonne chance pour ses futures aventures.
