No words to describe my time with Nelima at Bethesda school. So inspiring to see the determination of every single child and the teachers to make life better for themselves. Nelima has done an amazing job with setting up the school for those in need. I was welcomed with open arms and thoroughly enjoyed my time. Nelima was kind, considerate and helped my stay be as fantastic as possible. Highly recommend and I cannot wait to come back to visit my Kenyan family🩷

Elle était une enseignante très assidue en mathématiques, anglais, sciences et technologie.\nNatasha restera à jamais dans notre cœur pour sa gentillesse et sa générosité.\nNatasha a amené les enfants à participer activement à diverses activités comme des jeux et des sports.\nNatasha, vous êtes la bienvenue encore et encore; les enfants vous manqueront, mais en Dieu nous avons confiance et nous espérons vous revoir.

My experience at Bethesda was incredible, much better than I could imagine. Children are wonderful, always eager to learn anything, and giving you a lot of love from day one. Nelima is a great host, always caring about the children and the organization, she knows many interesting things about Kenya and its culture. The staff made me feel at home, they also teach you many things about their culture and ask you about yours. The area is incredible for those who enjoy country life, all corn plantations, and has the city nearby, where you can buy everything. 100% recommended. I want return.

J\'apprécie Arturo pour son travail acharné en tant que volontaire. Il a un beau cœur pour les enfants. Il a été un bon entraîneur et professeur d\'espagnol et affectueux; les enfants se sentent toujours heureux avec Arturo.
Il apportait un bon soutien aux besoins des enfants.

Bethesda kids are absolutely amazing and bring yourself back to what love and life means. ¿Too cheezy? Probably, yet very much true in my heart. My big suggestions for future volunteers are: 1. Get cash and a SIM card at the airport with allot of GB. You will need it and you should definitely not rely on eSIM cards nor WiFi. 2. READ with these kids! They love it and they don't have time in their other classes for it.

My stay at Bethesda was a wonderful experience. The opportunity to teach such amazing children, who have nothing more than love in their hearts, is something I will never forget. While communication between the host and volunteers could be challenging at times, these instances were rare for me. The teachers and host made me feel incredibly welcome, ensuring I felt right at home. Their efforts greatly enriched my experience of village life. I highly recommend coming and experiencing this organization and helping them grow as much as possible.

Vous êtes la volontaire que mon cœur aime, tout autant que le personnel vous aime beaucoup. Ce que vous avez dit était vrai. À votre départ, les choses ont dérapé; tout était difficile pour moi.
S’il vous plaît, travaillons ensemble pour renforcer notre organisation. Même maintenant, j’ai du mal à nourrir les enfants; la nourriture que vous avez laissée est épuisée. Personne ne s’en soucie.
Nous vous aimons, nous avons besoin de vous; revenez encore une fois.

My host was amazing such a lovely person I felt welcome from the first second. She does so much for the project and the children but also had time for me to show me around and give me lot of information about the country etc. I loved every second I spend in the school teaching and spending time with the kids. The whole experience was just amazing and I had the best time.
