Staying in urban and partying at wild was a sweet deal! It's not a small hostel, so there are quite a few tasks to do, but the team of volunteers and managers is really tight, which makes everything easier. Social life at hostels is something else, you're going to have a lot of fun and many hangovers, but it's totally worth it! And if ther is some emergensy you can count on managers to help you out

Wild the hostel at first makes you wonder how it is even possible that such a big and beautiful hostel can be run by a group of volunteers who run on very little sleep and party every night. Once you become part of it, you understand quickly. The hostel runs on community and love. Management staff are great people, other volunteers became some of my best friends. Would recommend this experience to anyone.

I stayed at the “chill” hostel, urban, and it was great! all of the activities and parties are with the other hostel, wild. The activities are the same as described, but if you don't want to clean the rooms, and just change beds for example, I wouldn't recommend it because here you do everything. They also offer money every day (1 euro for each volunteer, ex: 10 volun= 10 euros) to buy food, which helps a lot with saving money. Communication with managers is also excellent; they are willing to help when needed! The vibe was great, i met a lot of amazing people, thank you urban and tks dan!

The hostel is in fact very sociable and there's a lot of night life, however I wouldn't recommend it unless you are willing to have very hard and physical demanding shifts. My tasks were completely different from what I had agreed at the start (I was supposed to work as a party promoter). Before my arrival, I specifically asked the host if I would have to do any type of cleaning, to what she said no. Turns out it wasn't the case at all. On my training day I was taught how to clean the bathrooms and make the beds. It took me very much by surprise, I felt scammed so that's why I left way earlier

It was not the best experience I have had so far. You didn't get the breakfast or lunch that actually should have been included and the working hours were kinda tough too

The hostel does not respect the agreed working hours. Volunteers work more than the promised five hours per day, and mandatory meetings and weekly drink deliveries are not counted as working time. Guest activities can only be led on days off. The kitchen lacks basic utensils, and the volunteers' room has almost no ventilation. Despite volunteering being modest by nature, this does not justify illegal or unethical practices. Nearly all volunteers ended up coughing or feeling unwell.

My experience wasn't what I expected. I applied for Wild the hostel, but I was placed in their sister hostel. The hostel does not have a good structure. The staff room is weird, and there is no inviting common area to interact with guests. The kitchen doesn't have the basic equipment needed for cooking and the only meal they provide is dinner. The shifts are basically cleaning duties, just making beds, cleaning bathrooms, etc. If you want to do event shifts, those are all extra, so you need to da cleaning shift + any additional events you want to lead. Personally, it wasn't a good experience.

Great social atmosphere with super friendly people from all over the world. The work is simple and straightforward, and it's a great place if you enjoy partying and meeting new people. Downsides were not enough food is provided, the dorm was messy because some people will not clean up after themselves, and noisy at night which made it hard to sleep. Overall, still a fun and memorable experience.

If you love partying every night and meeting new people, this is the perfect experience. The managers and other volunteers were welcoming and kind. I only stayed for two weeks and only noticed a couple of problems. We didn't have enough money to buy lunch, and the bedroom was in a poor condition (I know it's the volunteers' responsibility to keep it clean, but it never happened). Sometimes the hours worked were longer than agreed upon. However, you get to meet so many people and have fun, so it was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it.
