Neil était clair sur le travail à réaliser : brûler du bois pour réduire le risque d'incendies de forêt. La maison était dans les montagnes, ce qui était calme et relaxant après une dure journée de travail. Le lieu est hors réseau et alimenté par l'énergie solaire; la chambre était cosy avec le feu et privée sur le côté de la maison. Cela a été productif car tout le travail a été terminé, et quelques sorties vers les villages voisins, les marchés et des rencontres avec des membres de la famille et des amis ont été parfaites. Je me suis senti bienvenu ici et j'ai apprécié les conversations avec Neil sur les voyages, la vie et des conseils en construction. Merci pour tout.

We had a really great time clearing some of the woodland surrounding the house to lower fire risk. It was challenging work but interesting and well worth it for a stay in such a beautiful area

Staying with Neil and Anna was a great opportunity to connect with the outdoors - with luscious surroundings and plenty of opportunity to explore outside of working hours. They were very trusting with us at their property - giving us confidence in gaining new skills when working on the house and in the nearby forest. They were very accommodating of my dietary requirements and made some delicious meals! Plus a comfortable, peaceful place to sleep at night. Thanks Anna & Neil for an amazing opportunity!

Spent a total of 11 nights with Anna and Neil and the whole experience was excellent. The work was well planned out, satisfying and achievable. The property itself is in a beautiful part of the country with many great walks, swimming holes, rivers and cute little towns so I was never without fun things to do during my generous amount of free time. Anna and Neil are wonderful hosts and the hospitality (and great food) they provided made my stay with them all the better. Overall an awesome experience. Thanks guys!!
