Passez deux semaines à faire du bénévolat; tous les refuges sont bien entretenus par l'équipe dévouée. Ils aiment vraiment et prennent soin de tous les refuges du centre et dans la zone/temple locale.
Mes journées ont été consacrées à nettoyer la zone, aider avec la nourriture, laver et promener les chiens paraplégiques du refuge et beaucoup de câlins!
À noter serait qu'il serait peut-être mieux adapté pour une paire de bénévoles car c'est une zone assez isolée (cependant, j'ai apprécié mon temps et je n'ai pas peur d'être seul :) ) et je dirais qu'il est plus facile de se déplacer si vous vous déplacez en scooter.

Si vous aimez le refuge, vous avez envie d’un peu de routine, cela ne vous dérange pas de vivre dans un endroit calme et de vous salir un peu parfois, vous êtes probablement aussi enthousiaste que moi à propos de cette expérience. J’ai adoré pouvoir brosser, jouer, nourrir, promener et donner des bains au refuge. J’ai aussi apprécié apprendre comment prendre soin des paraplégiques du refuge. Il y avait toujours quelque chose à nettoyer, à ranger, ou d’autres façons de contribuer, de sorte que notre aide semblait toujours avoir un sens. Les femmes qui travaillent là-bas sont incroyablement gentilles et nous avons eu la chance de passer du temps avec d’autres bénévoles, ce qui a rendu notre expérience encore plus enrichissante.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre temps au refuge ! Le refuge est super doux et facile de nouer des liens avec eux. Les propriétaires et le personnel prennent vraiment bien soin de tous. Nous pourrions aider à nettoyer la zone, à nous promener dans le refuge et pendant l'heure des repas. Dans l'ensemble, nous recommandons l'expérience !

Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment bénévole au refuge et nous nous sommes sentis bienvenus comme membres de l'équipe dès le premier jour. Bang, Ohn, Franz et Franziska sont incroyablement solidaires et font un travail remarquable. Il est préférable de clarifier dès le départ avec Verity quelles tâches vous êtes autorisé à faire, car certaines nécessitent de l'expérience. Le refuge est très doux, chacun avec sa propre histoire et personnalité, et travailler avec eux a été incroyablement gratifiant. Nous recommandons vivement de faire du bénévolat ici si vous aimez le refuge et que vous voulez aider - même si c'est simplement en leur donnant de l'amour, des câlins et de l'attention.

J'ai vraiment apprécié mon séjour dans le refuge. L'équipe avec laquelle j'ai travaillé a été très aimable et m'a fait me sentir le bienvenu. Travailler avec le refuge a été une expérience vraiment enrichissante. Ils sont tous doux, bien élevés et clairement bien pris en charge. La zone autour du refuge est aussi un grand atout. Il est situé juste à côté d'une plage calme et magnifique où vous pouvez promener le refuge et les environs donnent l'impression d'être paisibles et relaxants. C’est un endroit charmant pour passer du temps à l'extérieur, tant avec le refuge que seul. Dans l'ensemble, j'ai passé un bon moment là-bas et je le recommanderais à d'autres amoureux des chiens.

The shelter was my very first WorldPackers experience and it was a truly wonderful way to start my first solo trip. the shelter are very special and welcoming. I was nervous to meet so many the shelter, but it got easy very fast. I did a mix between social media, gathering content, fundraising help, and taking care of the shelter. I was the only volunteer when I went, but I got a chance to meet and hang out with some of the locals there. The area is very beautiful and peaceful. Everyone was kind and welcoming which made me feel a lot more comfortable being far from home.

From the moment I arrived, I felt truly welcomed by Verity and Thep, who are not only dedicated to the shelter but also genuinely kind and inspiring people. The local team were equally friendly and made me feel part of the group. The work is physical and hands-on, but it never felt like a burden because you can see how much it matters to the shelter. Spending time with them every day, getting to know their personalities and seeing their progress was the most fulfilling part for me. This is a place where every bit of help makes a difference. I'm grateful I got to be part of it.

Volunteering at the shelter's Dog the shelter has been a rewarding experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the team and, of course, the most lovable group of the shelter. Each dog had their own unique personality and story, and it was great getting to care for them. The work was hands-on, meaningful, and filled with tail wags and cuddles. The deep bond between humans and animals is so special. That makes leaving bittersweet. I'm going to miss the doggies and their playful spirits. They've left a paw print on my heart, and I know I'll carry this experience with me always.

We spent 1 month at the shelter, and we could not have asked for a better experience. The team is incredibly dedicated and passionate about their work and about every single dog. the shelter are treated with love and care, and they make sure every dog gets proper medical attention. They really go above and beyond for not just the shelter in the shelter but also the temple the shelter. Bang, Ohn, Piak, Franziska and Franz, thank you so much for everything you've teached us and for making us feel like a part of the team. We miss you already. Verity and Thep, thank you for having us. The experience was exactly what I hoped for. I wish I had more time to spend here. You are involved in the day to day work from day 2 (first day is sitting with the shelter so they get comfortable with you). This allows you to see the highs and lows of dog the shelter life. As a short term volunteer you are helpful, but not crucial to the shelter operations, which is perfect. Note the description is incorrect as each day is 8:30-3:30 with an hour lunch (although none of those are hard times) with 2 days off per week as desired. The working hours allow for plenty of timing hanging out with the shelter.
