J'ai vraiment apprécié cette expérience. J'ai rencontré beaucoup de gens et j'ai eu l'occasion de faire partie de la culture locale. Dimitris a toujours été gentil, accessible et serviable. Ce fut un plaisir d'y séjourner. Je me suis beaucoup amusé, me suis fait de nouveaux amis, et les tâches étaient très simples, principalement aider à la réception et faire la lessive. On partage bien une chambre avec d'autres invités, mais Dimitris est très compréhensif, flexible et toujours prêt à aider pour tout problème ou inquiétude. Il tient vraiment à ce que tout le monde se sente à l'aise

Je suis probablement parti au mauvais moment, car dans la chambre du dortoir, il n'y avait pendant longtemps PERSONNE d'autre que moi, ce qui est devenu assez solitaire avec le temps. Dimitris et le personnel sont toutefois très adorables et on s'entend bien, la ville le soir est très animée et je peux bien m'imaginer que, si l'on a des gens autour de soi, on peut vivre une expérience merveilleuse :)

J'ai passé un bon moment à Trikala, même si j'ai dû partir plus tôt pour des raisons personnelles. Je suis d'accord avec d'autres commentaires sur la recommandation de ce séjour comme court, mais il y a encore des choses à faire en dehors de la ville qui peuvent être atteintes en bus, par exemple la plage et Kalambaka. En ce qui concerne le travail, c'était une tâche très facile, impliquant l'accueil et la blanchisserie, et Dimitris était très flexible avec l'emploi du temps, ce que j'ai apprécié. Je dirais que la communication a parfois laissé à désirer, comme lorsque je suis arrivé, avec très peu d'informations pendant les premiers jours. Une remarque toutefois: les installations de la cuisine sont très limitées, ce que j'ai trouvé difficile.

The stay at the hostel in Trikala was very peaceful and wholesome. If you are looking for a quiet environment in the middle of rural Greece, this is the place for you. The tasks were very accessible and the timetable was flexible, Dimitris gave us a lot of freedom and suggestions on activities to do, and I connected with a lot of local peoples in an authentic way it would not have been possible otherwise. I really recommend the experience!

Dimitris was a great host! Tasks were easy, just doing the laundry and keeping the reception open, and times were flexible. Visited the hostel which was amazing! Trikala is a cozy town but not that much to do so wouldn't recommend staying more than two weeks.

The experience was great. The place is perfect for someone who have to work remotely. The only thing is that if you stay more than two weeks, you will have nowhere to visit or to do after like 2 weeks. Their is no much to do on town. But the host and the works is not a problem at all.

I've had a wonderful experience! Trikala is a cute little town right next to the hostel and apart from visiting the hostel there is not too much to do around. My stay was in October when there weren't too many international travelers so depending on the season you might have a lot of time to yourself. The work itself was not hard at all. Just a few check-ins, laundry and keeping the dorm room clean. Communication was good and Dimitris was always trying to recommend activities and helped in planning my weekend trip. All in all I felt very welcomed and can absolutely recommend it! :)

I spent a whole month in Trikala with two of my friends helping Dimitris in the hostel, he is an amazing host and was very helpful towards us, always helping with the buses or any question that we had, the work was very easy and the only thing that was kind of heavy was the laundry, nonetheless if you are accompanied or listening the music the time goes by very quickly, I recommend going to Platamonas if you have the chance, it is very beautiful and it has beaches. Close to Trikala is a river so you can go there when it gets hot, the city has also a lot of social night life.

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel, it is a quiet place to rest for a week or two, the work is mostly reception or laundry but was quite a light workload while I was there and dimitris is very flexible with hours, meaning I got to have some time off and explore other areas. It's quite a quiet town but has a 25-30 minute bus ride to Kalabaka meaning I could hike most evenings!

I had a great time volunteering at the hostel! Dimitris was so lovely and gave me great recommendations for visiting surrounding areas and restaurants. The work was really chill, just checking people in and laundry, and I met some really lovely people here! I had a really great experience and would recommend this to others if you are looking for a smaller town and like hiking and nature :)
