J'ai vraiment apprécié mon expérience ici et je suis reconnaissant pour le temps passé dans cet endroit magnifique. L'emplacement est entouré par la nature et est parfait pour quiconque aime le surf, la randonnée ou tout simplement se détendre.
David et Cristina ont été incroyablement gentils et accueillants, et travailler avec Lurdes, la cheffe, a été un vrai plaisir. Elle a rendu chaque jour en cuisine agréable.
Ça a été une expérience merveilleuse, et je la recommanderais certainement à quiconque cherche une opportunité de bénévolat dans un endroit magnifique et paisible.

Mon expérience à Caldeira au Surf Camp a pleinement répondu à mes attentes. Ici règne une tranquillité et une immersion dans la vie locale vraiment spéciale. La nature, la gastronomie locale et les personnes de cet endroit ont touché mon cœur. Je remercie Cristina et David pour l'opportunité de faire partie de cette merveilleuse guesthouse et pour m'avoir permis de donner un coup de main. Et merci d'avoir un chien aussi beau qu'Aqua. Sans aucun doute, il a égayé bon nombre de mes moments par sa compagnie. Je vous souhaite tout le meilleur et beaucoup de bonheur avec la petite Zafira :)

My first volunteer experience at Caildeira the surf camp was incredible. The isolated location and landscapes left me speechless, letting me fully disconnect. I had plenty of free time to explore the surroundings, I went hiking, enjoyed the lake, surfed, and explored other parts of the island. The tasks were simple, helping with breakfast preparation or serving during dinner. The whole team was kind and always there to help and guide me with the tasks. David and Cristina were welcoming and always available whenever I needed anything. I made wonderful memories and really hope to come back one day!!

I had a great time volunteering here on the island. The host was very accommodating when we needed to go into the town as it was hard to get to without a quad or hike. The work was as agreed upon beforehand and the staff were friendly to work with. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to reconnect with nature and enjoy beautiful views!

I had a great experience working here. This is a guest house so from time to time things might change last minute and if you are flexible with David he will definitely be flexible for you! I would say if you are flexible and have good communication skills this would be a good fit for you. I made some really good memories here and the waves are the best. I will definitely be coming back!

My experience in the surf camp was truly wonderful. Between hiking, kayaking, and surfing, I found the nature escape I had been looking for. The place is stunning, and David and Cristina are always kind and helpful. As for the tasks, they are simple and almost always allow for more than half a day of free time, which gives you plenty of time to fully enjoy the area and connect with the locals. One downside was the continuos tensions within the team, which affected the work atmosphere, especially because in a place like this, you'd expect nothing but peace and tranquility.

The place is a paradise, completely immersed in nature. It's isolated, which guarantees its authenticity. The guesthouse is very beautiful. David and Cristina have always been very kind and helpful. The only significant flaw was the negative atmosphere within the team (not the volunteers), mainly fueled by the cooker, a very negative person, always busy badmouthing everyone and creating a bad mood. Truly absurd in a peaceful place like this!

It was a beautiful experience to volunteer in the surf camp. Shy (the chef) David and Cristina (the owners) are always kind to explain how to do things to ensure a smooth service. They really appreciate proactivity, and whenever they needed a schedule change (very rarely) they were super respectful and considerate when asking. I had plenty of time to go walking, swimming or just chilling playing music with the guests ( best memory I take 🧡). Since the place is remote all meals where covered, good quality food, I am soo gonna miss that. I will definitely come back. Obrigadissima!

I loved my experience at the surf camp Surfhouse - I enjoyed being in such a remote location and really being able to connect with nature and disconnect from electronic distractions. It is a very good place to reset your mind and body and the work is very fair, four hour shifts, with plenty of time to explore.
