Amazing first volunteering experience! Deva welcomed me like family and made me want to keep volunteering. I worked 5 days with Wyn, the farmer – weeding vanilla, picking the farm, walking in the bamboo forest, feeding the cows Lola & Aurora, and starting a parking project. Wyn taught me a bit of Indonesian and I met his generous family. Special thanks to Pak Made for driving me daily, and to Deva for her inspiring conversations and hospitality. I felt so good I stayed a few extra days! Thanks Deva for everything <3

My girlfriend Bea and I spent a week volunteering with Deva and her team, we had a wonderful time! I really enjoyed feeding the cows and helping cut the grass on farm 2. It was nice going to local balinese markets, meeting new people, exploring town, farming and working on my moped skills 😊 Thank you Deva for giving us our own personal space in your home as-well as being so generous and understanding. Our time will be unforgettable 🌿☕️🐄

We had an amazing time volunteering and staying with Deva! She is such a bubbly, generous and active person. Together we worked with a fellow volunteer Sumi (also lovely and friendly) cutting grass, feed cows & pick cherries. It's definitely hard work!! But it's always a laugh and makes you appreciate the experience more. Deva isn't kidding the ride to the farm is difficult but surrounded by absolutely stunning rice fields, devo ensure you can ride a bike before. We found it rewarding and memorable, allowing us to meet new people, connect with nature and explore ubud. Thank you so much! 💗😚🍂🐮

J'ai vraiment apprécié mon séjour à la ferme. Deva m'a accueilli à bras ouverts—elle est chaleureuse et attentionnée. La maison, qui a une belle piscine, est plus proche d'Ubud et facilite l'exploration de la région. La ferme est loin, il est donc définitivement utile de savoir conduire un scooter. Comme je ne sais pas conduire, Deva a gentiment organisé le transport pour moi, ce qui a rendu les choses beaucoup plus faciles. Travailler sur la ferme biologique a été une belle expérience. J'ai aimé passer du temps avec Wayan et Pad Maday. J'aurais aimé qu'il y ait plus de bénévoles avec qui se connecter et apprendre, mais je suis reconnaissant pour l'expérience! Merci!

Deva is a communicative and friendly person, his staffs are incredible people and take very good care of Deva's spaces. I was able to participate in the process of harvesting and pulping the farm. the farm is the best of all, I really loved and became addicted to this the farm!

Salut Sam.. Merci d\'être venu faire du bénévolat à la ferme; ce fut un plaisir de t\'accueillir. Il a été dommage qu\'en fin de compte tu te sentes sous une forte pression de sources externes. J\'espère que tu rêves toujours du café de Luwak> Je comprends que tu as apprécié les fermes et les balades à vélo. Nous te souhaitons tout le meilleur pour Sumatra.. et pour tes futures aventures.

Oui, Shakti est un conducteur de scooter débutant, il avait donc un peu peur des routes. C'est l'une des raisons pour lesquelles nous exigeons que nos bénévoles puissent conduire un scooter. La ferme est à environ 30 minutes en voiture, mais c'est une jolie balade tôt le matin. Nous construisons notre maison de ferme en ce moment; Shakti a aidé à apporter les pierres aux fermes. Cependant, en raison des fortes pluies au début de cette année, votre projet de construction a ralenti.

My boyfriend and I recently had the pleasure of volunteering with Deva, and I can confidently say it was one of the most rewarding experiences. Deva was an awesome host, we felt very welcomed to her home and learned so much about the local life there. When it came to volunteering at the farm, we had the opportunity to pick the farm cherries, help build her the farm house in Ubud, and learn how to maximize the farm yields naturally. My time in Bali wouldn't have been quite as immersive if it weren't for this experience here at the farm.

Hi, we enjoyed our time here with Deva at Pemberri the farm! She's an incredibly interesting individual and if there's any reason to choose this opportunity over others it's meeting her and hearing all of her stories! She also happens to be a very accommodative host, which we appreciated. We chose to volunteer for over a week after we explored around a bit across the island, and something I noticed in retrospect is that some of the most memorable experiences were actually while I was volunteering here rather than when I was sightseeing!
