Volunteering at the guest house Hostel was such a great 1st experience with Worldpackers. Alfonso was very accommodating. The work was easy and flexible. He would always communicate when he needed extra help and was accommodating to your personal schedule so you can have time to explore the city! I definitely recommend this volunteer experience if you want to stay somewhere that is generationally owned, has a charming and calm environment and in a great location.

My Experience here was amazing. Alfonso is a caring and wonderful host who made me feel welcome from the very beginning. I always felt safe during my stay, and I really appreciated the flexibility he gave me to choose my own schedule at the hostel- it allowed me plenty of time to explore the city as well. The location in Roma Norte is perfect, close to so many places to visit. Whenever I had questions or needed help getting around, Alfonso was always available and happy to guide me. His team is just as kind and welcoming- Miguel especially always lifted the mood. I would absolutely return!

I stayed here for a month and had a really great time getting to know Alfonso, Guillermo, and Elsa. They were very accommodating and communicative, and made sure I was always taken care of. The workload was light, and there was a lot of flexibility with working hours and free time. After getting comfortable, I was able to cook myself lunch and dinner whenever I wanted, and got a free breakfast every morning as well. Highly recommend this experience to anyone who is interested; you'll be treated very well.

I loved volunteering at the guest house Hostel. Alfonso, Miguel, Elsa and Christina are all amazing coworkers. The boss Alfonso is especially great. He recommended a lot of cool places to visit and gave insight to Mexican culture. Whilst working here you make new friends. The area is also very nice. A short walk from the angel of independence. And if you need help navigating the metro system, Alfonso is very helpful. There are some food stools on nearby corners if you want to try Mexican street food. The work is straightforward. I would recommend the guest house Hostel to everyone 😌
