This was my first volunteering, Lisette is a kind and lovely person, the experience was amazing, beautiful nature and the sky at night starry, I felt like I was at home in a cozy and safe environment, her family is adorable, the cats are wonderful, I loved the time I spent there, one day I will come back. Rafael, Matheo and Iasonas, a hug for you my boys.

Lisette was an amazing host and I will forever cherish the time I spent on her Finca. Each day brings something new, so be prepared to go with the flow of what is required to live on a finca. As a vegetarian, Lisette was very accommodating and I ate very well. There is also a nice balance of work and downtime, where you can get to know her wonderful family and owners of neighboring fincas. I wholeheartedly recommend this volunteer experience to anyone willing to put in the work because it is so rewarding.

Liesette is absolutely lovely! The finca is her house and she has two teenagers, we spent time together as she makes you feel part of the family. The work was well instructed and easy. Loved the pancakes breakfast and being spoiled haha It's far from cities but it's such a beautiful place, really peaceful! I shared the room with the other sweet volunteer, it was cozy! My time at Lisette's finca was a truly wonderful experience. Lisette is an incredibly caring and attentive person who always makes you feel like part of the family. Her kids are very creative and love spending time cooking together, which made the experience even more enjoyable. During my stay, Lisette had a specific project in mind that she wanted to accomplish, and I'm glad we were able to finish it on time. I really hope she gets to see the results of the vegetable garden very soon!

I had an amazing time with Lisette and her family! The Finca is beautiful, and the work was easy and reasonable. After contributing to the daily tasks, there is plenty of time to relax, and most evenings are spent watching movies with the kids. Katja was also really helpful, and I had a lot of fun working on the almond trees with her! The only downside to the position is that there isn't much privacy in the home and sometimes it can get a little awkward being in the middle of family affairs. That said, it wasn't a dealbreaker for me and I'd still be happy to come back!

J’essaie toujours de faire en sorte que les bénévoles se sentent comme chez eux, en proposant une de nos deux chambres pendant que l'un de nous dort sur le canapé. Vivre de près dans un foyer familial peut avoir ses défis, et je suis reconnaissant(e) pour la flexibilité des bénévoles.
En tant que mère célibataire de deux adolescents, les choses ne se passent pas toujours comme prévu. La prochaine fois, n’hésitez pas à me parler.

I had such a wonderful time with Lisette and her two beautiful children! Not only did I enjoy spending time with them and their four charming cats, but I also loved being surrounded by nature. This experience allowed me to reconnect with myself, learn so much about rural living, gardening, and becoming more self-sufficient. I've had precious moments at the farm. It's a magical place to be in touch with nature and oneself. Also the nights full of stars are amazing. There is a good variety of veg, fruits, etc. She is aware to live in a sustainable way. Lisette and the kids have been very kind and caring. I always felt I was part of the family. The tasks were easy & flexible. We had deep talks, prepared and enjoyed delicious food (Mateo and Rafa really enjoy cooking), we played games, sang along and had a great time at Maella. All these memories will always be in muy heart.

I truly enjoyed my time on the finca. I got to learn a lot about farming and I hope to take what I learned back to the states! If you like kids then you will really get a kick out of the boys. They kept me laughing and the family gave me a new perspective on what it means to live of land.

Bonjour Irene, merci beaucoup pour ton avis positif ! Faire partie de notre première expérience Worldpackers (incluant Worldpacker Rose) a été génial de vous avoir toutes les deux parmi nous. Tellement de plaisir et de rires. Comme "seulement nous cinq", c'était très spécial.
Ton effort sans fin pour faire les choses et/ou participer à / organiser toutes sortes d'activités a été remarquable.
Je te souhaite un moment fantastique à Grenade. Tu as un esprit si créatif. J'ai hâte de voir le résultat final de la fresque là-bas. Bonne chance et profite au maximum !

What an incredible experience to say the least. Working with Lisette on the finca was amazing. Rafael & Mateo (her two boys) are so wonderful. I helped with cooking, cleaning, childcare, marketing, and drawing a map of the finca. This place is so serene and in a rural area. Lisette was very accommodating when you needed to go somewhere or you were interested in doing something. We went to the pool often, we took trips to Caspe, Zaragoza, and Maella. There were so many wonderful parts of my stay it's hard to summarize all of it. It was great learning about a new culture!!!can't wait to visit.

Ce fut un réel plaisir de t'accueillir dans notre finca, ton aide a été formidable (y compris ta cuisine que j'ai oubliée de mentionner dans ma critique). Et tu sais, tu es toujours la bienvenue à nous rendre visite. En attendant, nous resterons en contact via tous tes canaux sur les réseaux sociaux. De nombreux worldpackers ont postulé à ce poste récemment. L'hôte ne pourra probablement pas répondre à toutes les candidatures, nous vous recommandons donc de postuler également auprès d'autres hôtes de notre communauté et pas seulement celui-ci :)
