J'ai été malade pendant notre séjour chez Francisca, en raison des effets secondaires des pilules de prévention du paludisme. J'ai dû partir plus tôt que prévu. Néanmoins, ils ont pris soin de moi de manière exceptionnelle et ils ont été incroyablement aimables et accueillants tout au long du séjour. J'ai vraiment apprécié leur chaleur et leur hospitalité, et même si je ne me sentais pas au mieux, j'ai quand même vécu une belle expérience en restant avec eux.

Notre séjour chez Francisca n'a malheureusement pas été aussi long que prévu en raison de quelques visites à l'hôpital - sans relation avec le séjour - mais nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps. Ce que nous avons vu était une maman extrêmement chaleureuse et aimante, qui prend toujours le temps pour une bonne conversation et un repas chaud. Je recommanderais de rester ici si vous voulez découvrir la Tanzanie

I loved staying at Francesca's beautiful home and spending time with her family. She was welcoming, they made delicious meals and I had space to work and private accommodation. I was sad my visit was during the school holidays so I didn't get to volunteer at a school as I intended All the same I got to tour local places and immerse myself in local culture. I made a friend in her and hope to visit again

Mon hébergement a eu la chance d'accueillir quelqu'un de vraiment spécial nommé Sarah. Elle est courageuse et claire sur ses besoins, ce qui facilite la connexion avec elle. Le lien que nous avons formé est significatif, et c'est l'un que j'ai l'intention d'entretenir et de préserver.”

I could not recommend this experience enough. All aspects from mama Francisca's hospitality, the welcoming and friendly locals, the delicious food and the volunteering experience at the local public school was amazing!!! At the beginning, I was quite nervous about stepping in to the unknown. But soon after arriving I felt safe and comfortable with Francisca who now feels like my Tanzanian mom. I can confidently say this experience made me grow as a global citizen through having exposure to the African life and its history. There's so much more I could say so feel free to reach out :)

Francisca is a amazing woman and her family is wonderful. I had a really good time at the orphanage and school, the only thing was that it can be quite lonely at times bc you don't really meet a lot of people your age. The home is very nice with a private room and fan so it was very comfortable. You learn a lot about the local culture and traditions through franis family and friends so I am very grateful for her. Overall it was a lovely stay
