Ça a été une expérience tellement incroyable que j'y suis resté deux semaines de plus... des gens formidables, qui ont pris soin de chaque détail pour que vous vous sentiez chez vous ! Je peux définitivement recommander cet endroit ! J'ai passé un moment fantastique là-bas ! Stella, Robert et Namo ont été géniaux.

Bel auberge ! Le personnel est super sympathique. Je recommande de rester ici en haute saison; j'ai dû partir assez tôt pour des raisons personnelles, mais l'auberge est agréable et près de la gare, à 1 minute de la plage; il n'y avait pas grand-chose à faire.

L'hostel m'a fait rire et bouger mes pieds tout le temps que j'étais là. Le personnel là-bas est extrêmement gentil et plein d'amour. Ils me manquent tellement - surtout Kish & Jin♥️. Le travail en soi était super détendu, on lavait juste le linge et aidait à préparer le dîner en famille chaque soir. Ils étaient flexibles avec mes heures et m'ont donné de bonnes recommandations à Trinco et dans le reste du Sri Lanka. Tous ceux que j'ai rencontrés là-bas ont été si aimables, je suis éternellement reconnaissant d'avoir fait partie d'une telle incroyable famille d'auberge. À la prochaine !!

I volunteered at this hostel for 3 weeks and had a great time! The vibe was amazing, the people were super friendly, and the work was easy and enjoyable. It was a really fun and positive experience. I totally recommend it!

Everything was very good for me, I seemed to have a holiday there, thank you Jay for everything, he is very warm and very helpful, definitely a place I recommend to everyone, a place that gives you a lot of facilities and flexibility, if you want to have a holiday and socialize, you should definitely choose it, I hope to see you again

We had such a nice an fun stay at the hostel! We even extended our stay for one week. The Host and the crew is amazing and we enjoyed everything here and would recommend it to every traveller that wants to be part of a social crazy community!

Overall it was a really fun experience!! The staff were very lovely and definitely love to party too. We got free activities as long as we got minimum 4 other guests to sign up. These were all really fun and definitely had a lot of energy (helped by the booze which you get 50% off as a volunteer). However some things to note: the party scene free flows some nights, but feels a little forced others. The staff dorm is VERY simplistic, "bathroom" really smells and you can feel the metal underneath the mattress. Your job is mainly just to do LOTS of laundry, set up dinner and promote activities 😊

Overall, it was a great experience as we had lots of fun, got to experience lots of activities and really saw all that Trincomalee has to offer. The staff were friendly, good fun to be around and the hostel itself had a lovely sociable vibe. However, the staff dorm was very basic which often ran out of running water and power as well as being shared with 10 people. The jobs we were asked to do were manageable and didn't take up much of the day so could then have the rest of the day to ourselves. The staff were clear with giving us instructions so we always felt like we knew what to do.
